A lovely team, helpful, friendly and efficient, runs the hotel. As the hotel is somewhat distant from any facilities, a car is essential, unless you are prepared to rely solely on what the hotel offers - which is perfect tranquility in a lovely setting. Our two evening meals in the hotel restaurant were of excellent quality, both food and wine being very reasonably priced.

ho alloggiato in qsta struttura x una notte e ne sono rimasta incantanta.il sito dell'albergo nn fa' giustizia al posto che andrete a visitare,credetemi e' molto piu' bello!io lo consiglio a tutti coloro che hanno voglia di riposarsi e rilassarsi in mezzo al verde...di svegliarsi al mattino e vedere il fiume che scorre sotto la finestra dell'albergo...o immense praterie verdi.visto che vi trovate li' nelle vicinanze vi consiglio di visitare le cascate delle marmore ,l'abbazia di farfa e un po' piu' distante spoleto.auguro a tutti voi che andrete li' un buon soggiorno.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 week on our honeymoon. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful locale and found it. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms tidy, and the staff helpful. Neither of us spoke Italian but everyone was quite accomodating. As another traveller commented, the room furnishings were not impressive, but the rooms themselves were pleasant. The only ammenity that didn't live up to its billing were the bicycles for rent--the fleet is in serious disrepair. Everything else was wonderful, especially Il Tempe (the ristorante). The hotel sits on a bend of the Velino River, at the base of the hill on which the little village of Colli Sul Velino perches. It is truly picturesque. I wish we could have stayed longer.
