I thought it was closer to the Blue Line than it was ... it's about a 10-minute walk and you have to cross a very busy intersection.
I received superb service in that the shuttle driver agreed to meet me with my bags at the station on my last day instead of making me walk all the way back to the hotel.
While it wasn't bad for the money and it's very convenient to the airport, it might be worthwhile to spend a bit more to stay closer to the city. It took me about 90 minutes door-to-door to return from a late night at the Halsted Street blues clubs.

Overall I was very happy with my stay. The Hotel never received anything from Venere about my stay but I called in advance and they still confirmed the room for me and when I got there I had to provide a print out of my confirmation from Venere. The Hotel staff was very helpful and it was in a good location for what I needed, 5 minute walk to the Blueline train to downtown. Shuttle service was a free option as well. Internet was not available in my room like the web site said which was disappointing but breakfast and the Bistro were great. Rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

Airport pickup was a mess. Called them from the aiport, and was told the shuttle would be there within 15 minutes. It took one hour from I called till I was at the hotel. Had been quicker to use public transport.
Remember to bring the phonenumber as the hotel don't have a pick-up-phone on the aiport.

Phone was not working in my room from day 1.I made complaint but no body came to fix it till the end of my trip..there was no wireless internet connection in rooms individually.
