Location is spot on, straight in the midlle of the town. About 5mins from train station and view on Mont Blanc from window....just priceless. We spent there two nights and were very happy. Lovely room, lovely view, we will definitelly be coming back...

La Valee' Blanche was one of our most pleasant surprises in France. A wonderful hotel with a great staff. It's a beautiful building, in the center of Chamonix! We cannot give any accommodation any higher rating.

We were VERY disappointed! The room we were given was falling apart and filthy dirty!! We stayed the first night and relocated for our next 2 nights. The bathroom was discusting! This was not a three star hotel by any means! The rating needs to be adjusted to maybe a one star at most. Also,it is located on a very noisy street-kept us awake all night. We will never recommend to anyone!

Stayed for 4 nights, late June 2007. We had to ask specifically to get a host card for the free local bus and train; it is supposed to be given to guests automaticlally, according to all local information centres. The building is old but well kept. Very well located, very close to the central area of town and well within walking distance of the train station.

It was the birthday of my husband who never touched snow so I searched during weeks to find a place with snow in the beginning of November!
Well, unfortunatelly, that was exactly the day it wasn't possible to the "téléphérique" and get a great overvieuw of everything, anyway we reached a high pojnt in the mountain and could see the nice ice river!
The people were very friendly (also in the city), there are free busses if you stay at the hotel, it must be even more beautiful in december or january with snwo everywhere.
The room was big, everything in wood, we only couldn't make the temperature rise, anyway the bed was very warm.

Mi único problema fue que hice la reserva una semana antes de alojar en el hotel y cuando quise darla de baja al día siguiente de hacer la reserva por el sistema de VENERE, no me permitía hacerlo.
Para mejorar: la calidad del desayuno.

Great location with friendly staff and walking distance to all of chamonix. Although the hotel does not have parking free parking lots are only 5 minutes walk away. Mont Blanc views from street side of building with river and mt views on opposite side. Lovely place would definitely return :)

Staff very friendly. good location.only problem we had was there was a loud rock concert on in the town centre during one of the nights we stayed (not the fault of the hotel). we really enjoyed staying in the hotel - great building, great location (views to mount blanc and glacier, walk to everything, next to river). great staff.

We have not given a Hotel Card at the time of check in. If we had that, we could take a tram free.
The location of the hotel and surroundings are very good, and the room was very spacious and bathroom is also good.(Some hotels didnt have shower curtain, which annyoed us), but it was equipped here.

We had a fantastic weeks stay at Le Vallee Blanche. The staff were extremely friendly. The room was well furnished and the beds made every day. Breakfast was worth the 9 euro. The only downside was the temperature of the room. We had to sleep with the window open most nights as you could not turn the radiators down. Apart from that we had a great time and will definately be staying in the future.

Fair hotel at a very reasonable price. Right at the center of chamonix. Rooms are spacious and covered with wood in a typical mountain atmosphere. Huge bath with a view to the main square. Ask for a room with a balcony facing the MontBlanc. Breakfast is decent and is server at the dowstairs irish pub. I stayed at low season and it was well worth the price. I would be happy to return again.

Our stay at La Valle Blanche was tremendous. The location on the river with glorious views and right in the town was perfect and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I hope we will manage to stay there again.

Our room was wonderful--right in the middle of town and beside the roaring stream and on the opposite side from the small street. The room was spacious and had three large openable windows which let in lots of sun and fresh air. This was our favorite hotel room of our 12 day trip to various parts of France (Provence, Paris, Grenoble, Chamonix). We enjoyed it very much and slept extremely well.

La Valee Blanche is in a terrific location right in the center of town and on the river. Our room had a small balcony that looked out at Mont Blanc! The room, however, was very dark and small. On the other hand, the price was great! Breakfast, while extra, was terrific and well worth the money.

La Vallee Blanche is perfectly situated in Chamonix next to the river and with views of the Alps (ask for a riverside room). We were made very welcome, and were very pleased with the room. The breakfast offered is worth it as well.
