HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From the railway station to the hotel: distance: about 2 Km;
mean route time by car with normal traffic: about 10-15 min.

Suggested route:
Beginning from "Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII";
- TURN LEFT UP TO" Corso Martiri Della Libertà";
- continue as far as " Piazza Della Repubblica";
- and still continue across "Corso Sicilia";
- UP to reach "Piazza Stesicoro";
- crossing "Via Etnea" turn to the right and continue as far as n° 668; (In some hours of the day, part of Via Etnea could be closed to vehicles);
- So, it's suggested to continue straight on your way and cross"Via Etnea";
so turn to the right and pursue through the paralle which is "Via Sant'Euplio";
- continue untill crossing "Via Posta
- turn to the right and soon afterwards to the left along "Via Etnea",and continue up to n°668.

From the airport to the hotel : distances about 6 km.
Mean route time by car with normal traffic: about 20-25 min .

Follow "Stradale Primosole";
- Turn to the right through "Via San Giuseppe Alla Rena";
- Turn to the right across "Asse Dei Servizi";
- Turn to the right though Sp53var continuing across "Domenico
Tempio";
- Go on with "Via Cristoforo Colombo";
- Turn to the right through "Via Mulino Santa Lucia";
- Turn to the left running along "Via Mulino Santa Lucia-Via Ionica";
- Turn to the right across"Via Alcalà";
- Turn to the right through "Via Cardinale Dusmet
Once in front of Piazza dei Martiri, turn round and on your right take Via Rabbordone,
pursue through Via Francesco Crispi,
- turn left on Corso Martiri della Libertà;
continue as far as " Piazza Della Repubblica";
- and still continue across "Corso Sicilia";
- UP to reach "Piazza Stesicoro";
- crossing "Via Etnea" turn to the right and continue as far as n° 668; (In some hours of the day, part of Via Etnea could be closed to vehicles);
- So, it's suggested to continue straight on your way and cross"Via Etnea";

By public transportation
From the railway station (Stazione Centrale di Catania) in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII (at 2/3 km away from the Hotel La Vecchia Palma), you can take any of the numerous buses (n° 429, 432, 449, 1-4) that reach Via Etnea, 668 (the stop is just in front of the hotel). Elsewhere, you can take the underground inside the railway station. Take to the direction and stop of BORGO, the station is located at a few steps from the Hotel.


From the airport Fontanarossa, (at 7/8 km away from Hotel La Vecchia Palma) , take the bus called Alibus (bus n. 457) for Catania's centre, then stop at the railway station. From the railway station, please read above for details
