The brand new Eurotel Altura hotel enjoys a magnificent location in Altura, right on the beautiful white sandy beaches.

My wife and I, enjoyed Eurotel very much even though the weather could have been better! The pool was great,though we we hardly made use of it because of the weather at the time. It was great to be able to use wide stairs and steps to get into and out of the poole. In other hotels they only have upright ladders which makes the elder person like ourselves stay away from this rather relaxing way of excercising and enjoying the stay without having to go elsewhere. The rooms were rather good, very clean and nice view. The balcony has a table and chairs and one can relax, take the sun and sort of 'be at home' The dining room was excellent, the service could not be better and the food a delight, specially for people like us who go around looking for good food. The Eurotel at Altura has been recrded into our GPS as we visit Portugal regularly and do not want to miss this hotel which we have enjoyed and will certainly stay in again on some of our visits to Portugal. We only stayed in Castro Marim four nights as we had other bookings in Lisbon and Porto. Note: You are at liberty to publish my name but please just put in L.B.Payas Thank you.
