Hotel Celtique has a central location in Carnac, on the main road in, but not noticably noisy. It is an easy walk to restuarants, shops and beach. The decor is modern throughout, staff pleasant and helpful. We stayed three nights in June and wished we had booked for longer. Parking was limited on site, but (in June) free in the surrounding side streets. We ate in the hotel restuarant just one night, because it was expensive and limited choice. However, the meal was very good. Breakfast was also very good. There is a very good swimming pool, which is both indoor and outdoor, the roof can slide back in hot weather. Our room on the first floor had a terrace with seats which again was very nice. You should ask for a balcony or terrace, as not all rooms have them. I can thoroughly recommend both Carnac and the Hotel Celtique as a base for exploring the Morbihan area.

We were disappointed by our stay at the Carnac Best Western. Whilst the room was comfortable, the television did not work (even after using two different remotes, the second requested from Reception), the heater turned off during the night and the wifi did not work in the room or in the Reception area (despite attempts by staff to logon). Parking was inadequate and we had to park in the street. We considered the Carnac hotel to be a 'merely adequate' Western.

We booked a room for 7 nights 3 at the price of 159 euros and 4 at the price of 99 euros. At the end it was the same very small room, no explanation. Wait 10 minutes to get a breakfast finally it was better to take it outside.

This was an off season visit for a family of four. The quad room with loft was an excellent choice! The price to amenities was very good! Breakfast was a great buffet.

We enjoyed our stay in Carnac, as it was the off season and there were no crowds (many of the stores were not open as well, which is the chance you take when you travel out of season). The Celtique was fine; our room was huge (a king bed and a single, with a huge bathroom with separate toilet area) and opened up onto the pool deck. The pool is enclosed so there was no noise coming from the area. Hotel is just few blocks from the beach and the area is great for an evening walk. We ate in the pizza restauarant next door, which was very good. Not a lot of hotel parking, which could be a problem in summer when street parking rules are in effect. Overall, great value for price, nice staff, good bed, decent breakfast.

Excellent facilties, the resturant was good, spacious lounge. Families were well catered for. Towels were available for beach use. The area was steeped in history,include a visit to the amazing church. Our bed in a third floor room was in a loft, which entailed a climb up a steep ladder.
