HOTEL OVERVIEW

Hotel La Vega Capri - Venere.com hotel front view Hotel La Vega is situated in the centre of the enchanting island of Capri, nestled in a quiet street, only a few steps from the splendid Certosa San Giacomo and famous Piazzetta, the main square of Capri. Also, the Roman and Greek sites can be easily reached and the marvellous beaches are a 25-minute bus ride away.

The property is housed in an elegant building surrounded by a nice garden with lemon trees and an outdoor swimming pool. An inner bar and a pool bar are at the guests' disposal for a quick lunch or drink.

Furthermore, a 24-hour reception is always at your disposal and will be pleased to provide you with all the necessary information on Capri. Tours in the surrounding areas and islands can be also organized.

At your arrival at Capri harbour, it is possible to have a luggage service. The property is open from the 16th of March untill the 5th of November.

La piscina dell'hotel è in posizione splendida, circondata dal verde e con una vista incantevole sul mare, da sola vale il prezzo dell'albergo. Le camere con vista mare sono ampie e confortevoli. Il personale si è mostrato gentile e premuroso. Solo la prima colazione è un po' carente, soprattutto per chi desidera un breakfast di tipo continentale, ma la terrazza su cui è servita offre uno splendido panorama!

Staff generally very helpful and friendly. This is a great value hotel in a beautiful location. Seems to cater for Italian and Americans mainly with a few other Europeans. Pool area excellent. Rooms very good except our air conditioning didnt work and we had nights when we sweltered. The breakfast could be improved in quality - suggest fresh fruit salad and coffee that is hot! Tip - travel light and get your luggage on wheels or use the liitle carriers which cost £5 Euros per piece - it is a long walk (10-15 minutes)in the heat from where the taxis can reach!

La Vega was just OK. It was very expensive for what we got. Furnishings are old and cheap. Elevator did not work. Nice pool.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
Guests can embark their cars to Capri only during the low season (between November and late March). Cars are of little use on Capri, so it is recommended to leave your car in Naples or Sorrento.

By train
The Napoli Centrale railway station is about 2 km from the Molo Beverello harbour, where you will embark to Capri. The ferry boat trip takes about 75 minutes.

By airplane
The Napoli Capodichino airport is about 35 minutes by car from the Molo Beverello harbour.

The property can arrange a shuttle service to Naples airport and central railway station.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 2 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than 11 a.m.

INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Shuttle service to Naples airport and railway station is not included. Prices available on request.
Luggage service costs €9,00 per item.
Breakfast is included in the price.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of late cancellation (less than 8 days prior to arrival date) or no show, the hotel is authorised to charge a one night cancellation penalty (15 days notice and a three night penalty are charged for Easter and August bookings!).
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 15 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.
