Hotel Savoy Beach Capaccio - Venere.com hotel outside The SAVOY BEACH HOTEL in Paestum, officially opened in September 2001, rises at the door of the National Park of Cilento, UNESCO worid resource, not so far from one of the most famous archaeological site in thè worid, where it is possible to visit the ruins and the GreekTemples . From the Hotel it is possible to reach to tourist places such as the archaeological site in Velia, Pertosa and Castelcivita Caves, Marina di Camerota, thè Charterhouse of Padula, and the most well known Town centre ofthe Amalfi Coast (Amalfi, Ravello, Positano).

This modem Hotel is surrounded by a garden-park of about 30.000 square metre full of typical Mediterranean and sub-tropical vegetation equipped with a large swimming-pool (Sm. 500) and tennis courts.

The Fitness Centre, reachable by lift directiy from the rooms, has been equipped with heated swimming-pool, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, massage and gym.

There was not enough staff for a property this size, so service was poor. The photographs were mainly of the pool, which was spectacular, but the design of the hotel itself was glitzy modern --- more what you'd expect in Las Vegas than near a major archealogical site. The surrounding area seemed very depressed, like some beach areas in Mexico.

A very fancy hotel, bigger and more polished than anywhere else we stayed in Italy. There's a great outdoor area with a swimming pool and gardens. You shouldn't pass up Paestum, and you shouldn't pass up the Savoy Beach Hotel!

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in anywhere in Europe! The facilities are excellent for non-Italian speaking visitors, very friendly staff. And the restuarant is incredible, both quality of food and service of staff. I will always recommend this hotel highly and we plan to return there again ourselves.

this hotel is rated as one of the top hotels in the world & we think it thoroughly deserves this status. It is better than the pictures show & totally grand. Food for our evening dinner & breakfast was first class . We were so impressed with the breakfast selection , we videoed the spread!

The Savoy Beach is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel has a nice pool area. We only stayed here for 1 night so unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of all the hotel had to offer. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was fantastic. The breakfast was also very nice. The cappucino was one of the best. The hotel is also very easy to find. Just look for the signs pointing you in the right direction. We wish we could have stayed here a day or 2 longer just so that we could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overall, the price we paid for this hotel was a bargain. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
