My husband & I did not realise that this hotel only has a limited number of rooms, and thrives on the successful restaurant rather than the hotel, it seems. The receptionist seemed offended when we mentioned that we did not want to eat in the restaurant (as it was VERY expensive, and also I am vegetarian and there was nothing on the menu that I could eat). We had to get a cab up to Mougins as there was no path to the village, the roads were busy and it's about 2km distance, and found a few bars & restaurants. The terrace outside our room was very noisy as busy roads are on either side of the hotel and there is a constant 'hum' of traffic. I would have been very disappointed with this if I had booked in the summer. We will not stay at this hotel again in the future.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn't get to eat in their world famous restaurant because it was closed that night but a wonderful restaurant was recommended by the staff and they made reservations for us.

We had an upgrading.Booked a room at venere for 140,- and got a Suite for 300,-. A beautiful Suite lots of space and good furnished. But you should know that this hotel is situated between two very, very noisy roads. The noise of the cars is so strong that you can't open the window. And we like to sleep with open windows.. The cook is brilliant and - apart from the noise- everything has been wonderful

eccellente la cena e lo chef anche se il prezzo è alto 150 euro a persona, ma ne vale la pena. il posto è molto bello ma le camere sono piccole, non proprio relais & chateau
