Staff were extremely helpful, we had a problem with our rented GPS and it was no trouble for them to make all the phone calls and explain our difficulties. Received a replacement the very same day. Also very helpful with dinner menu explaining in English exactly what was what. Rooms were spotless, food was great, service the best. Highly recommended.

The parking is croweded at night, the places are narrow and is really difficult to park the car at night. In the morning,we found our car with many scratches made by our ''parking neighbour''.

Good accommodation for one night, centrally located for Caen. Would perhaps not be suitable for an extended stay but perfect as a stopover - the hotel was full of people staying for one night on their way to other places. Good value and we particularly appreciated the free tea and coffee facilities in the rooms.

My only complaint is that a triple is actually a double with a bed added so that the space is reduced. For 2 people great as soon as a third person gets in it feels a little cramped. Otherwise, a great deal with excellent breakfast and very good ammenities. Ample parking and easy to find.

This is a very nice hotel and restaurant. The location not being near the central part of the city would be the only disadvantage. Walking to places was not possible. The location does however lend itself to a quiet stay. The security fence was unusual for me to see at a hotel of this type and location, but we didn't have to worry about our rental car being disturbed by anyone. My son & I were in France to tour the beaches of Normandy. We had a nice visit.

Would not recommend this hotel or the chain. I notified that I would be a late arrival and the hotel was closed when we arrived. The Auto Registration machine similar to a ATM bank machine did not recognize our reservation. Had to sleep in the car. Next morning had a quarrel with the hotel Mgr. at 7AM about the situation and he refused my request that I should not be charged for the room which he insisted to do. I reserved a room with twin beds and he had left a room with a double bed. Totally unsatisfied

Our group of four adults and two elementary aged kids stayed here to tour the D-Day Normandy Beach area. It was about an hour drive to most of the American sector areas but it was mostly Autobahn traveling. The hotel was easy to get to, had a very friendly staff who worked with our language barrier very well. The food in the restaurant seemed to of good quality, but their version of how to good a steak is different than ours was. We ordered three medium rares and a well done and got three bleeding and one medium well. Other than that the restaurant seemed very nice. We sis not take in the breakfast however to save on time. We had two triples and they just fit all three single sized beds. The bathroom very very spacious and suited us very well. The room had a built-in table near the window and had a small wall shelf that had a water heater with coffee, tea, and cups. It was nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone touring the British, Canadian, and French sectors of the Normandy Beach areas, and to anyone just touring the area period. We enjoyed those two nights.

We stayed in Mondeville five nights, because we should visit the Arromanches beach and other places as Saint Michel.

Only real problem was that hotel address did not include street name(Ave.de Bruxelles) which was needed to get precise location. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay, which is important because it was our first time with Campanile!

I thought that the Hotel Campanile was an excellent value for the price and a great place to rest. My friends and I were impressed with the quality and cleanliness of our room and bathroom, especially for the price we payed. We arrived late and the automatic key dispenser that the helpful desk told us about was very useful. The only experience that fell short of excellent was the breakfast. The food was plentiful and delicious, but as the information said breakfast included, we did not see any distinction between the "full breakfast" and the one included with the room. It may have been on a sign that we did not see (in French), but the hotel people were apparently watching us like hawks to see who ate what, which made breakfast a little uncomfortable. Even though we ate from the "full breakfast" bar and had to pay for it, the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Campanile to my friends and stay there again. Thank you.
