The walls are very thin and TV sounds and voices can be heard from room to room. However, at least in our 2nd floor room no traffic noices could be heard. Although very friendly, the staff speaks very little English. There was , however, one young woman how speaks fluently. Credit card was accepted. Very big plus for the room having a micro and a fridge. No air-conditioning. A continental breakfast was served to the room for 7 euros. Next to the hotel is a small grocery store and about 1km distance is a small supermarket. Parking space at the hotel back yard for about 15 cars.

Fine hotel for a 1-night stopover, and only 30 mins from the Caen ferry port.
Friendly & efficient staff made us feel welcome.
Aldi supermarket directly opposite closes at 19:00, however there's a Champion supermarket (turn left onto main road outside hotel) within 5 minutes drive that's open a bit later.
No restaurants in sight of hotel, but there's a take-away kebab shop, and a take-away pizza place en route to the supermarket. The pizza place was ok, but not brilliant. Stick to standard pizzas rather than the exotic curry one that we sampled !
Kitchinette was small but functional.
Room was noisy (with the window open) given the proximity to the main road.

I requested a room that holds four people. That in itself is very hard to find in France. To my surprise the room was large enough for my family to move around and the sleeping arrrangements were more than comfortable. The location is good since it is not far from the highway and is close to most of the Normandy locations

Albergo confortevole e pulito.

The Bellevue was the perfect stop-over for our family before we travelled to the Dordogne, and before we returned to the UK. The roomy Charm apartment was excellent; with a great breakfast and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good location - not too far from the ring road and with easy access to Caen and surrounding area (we saw the Bayeux tapestry and the D-Day beaches during our brief stay). We would recommend to our friends.

We were a family of 4, two children, two adults. The staff was very nice. We checked in late on a Sunday night. Things were very quiet. Our room was perfect for what we were looking for. One night stopover. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. The small kitchenette was very nice, though we didn't really have time to use it. Breakfast in the room was on time and reasonably priced. The room faced the busy street, but it wasn't too bad. We were a little father out of town than expected. I would recommend this hotel.

Since we had a car this hotel was ok. Not near anything but not too far by car. On a main street that is very noisy. Would probably not choose this property again probably. The kitchen area was good for a family especially if you will be there several days (which we were not).

Il residence non è in posizione centrale ma si può raggiungere il centro a piedi in circa 20-25 minuti. Gli appartamenti sono ben forniti, confortevoli e spaziosi. Il personale è gentile e disponibile.

We used this as a stopover on the way down to the atlantic coast and it was great. It was 2 minutes from the Rennes peripherique,as described.Whilst not in the most attractive of areas{industrial] it delivered everything promised. The room was excellent - two adjoining rooms to fit our family of four in,both en suite. The restaraunt offered really good food at reasonable prices. And the breakfast was amazing I have never seen so much choice!Thoroughly recommend and would use again

The room we had was small and hot with only a roof window. There might have been better rooms available. Traffic noise was considerable - room faced the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to find and offstreet parking space was adequate. Overall the hotel was adequate for a short stay (2 nights) but we would not return.

WE have no complaints except one: on the last day of our stay, when our rental car had bromen down, we wanted, after vaceting our room to leave our lugggage at the reception (as is normal in all hotels we have stayed at)so we could spend the say in Caen, and take the train to FDG Paris in the evening, as our flight was to keave at 00:30 the following morning. This request was refused;yhe reason iven was that the reception would be closed from 12:30 till 19:00/ By this time it would be too late for us to take the train to Paris in oreder to catch our flight from CDG.

The room worked out very well for the four of us. The kitchenette was great and the bathroom was very clean. The owners were very nice. Only suggestion would to to add some pictures on the walls to make it appear as quaint as the picture on line depict.

This hotel was excellent over all. They did not have 2 double bedrooms available for 4 of us, but the 4 person suite they provided instead was still just as good. A little kitchen really came in handy, especially with a grocery store right across the road. Everything was always clean. We had a car, so access to Caen was easy.

This is a nice property with a hotelier who speaks good English. I believe they answer the phone 24/7, which isn't always the case. It's outside the downtown square by a few miles, but right at the stop for Bus #2 and Abbey aux Hommes is on the way to center city.

Very good, simple, hotel with parkingspace behind the hotel. Near the centre of Caen and a good base from where it is easy to visit the part of Normandy where in 1944 the allied landings took place. Simple breakfast but a lot cheaper than at the landing beaches!

The hotel owners--a married couple--were very capable, friendly and helpful. They served continental breakfasts in our room at precisely 8:00 am, the time we requested. The room was very pleasant; the bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean, and we had a refrigerator, sink, and small stove in the room.

We requested and received a quiet room. It was spacious with kitchenette and good-sized sitting room. TV in both sitting area and bedroom. We enjoyed our stay here and would strongly recommend. Also, close to city centre (7 min. drive). Local shops nearby.
