Nice room, delicious and inexpensive dinners served in the hotel restaurant. Good buffet breakfast too. Bathrooms are small. Staff did not speak English; but were very helpful and pleasant.
Hotel location requires use of taxi or bus from train station. City bus stops are close to hotel. (We took the bus to the Caen Museum and joined D-Day bus tour from there.)

The hotel was in an industrial area from which it was necessary to drive to get to anything in Caen.
Not really price effective, very soulless hotel.
