Hampshire Inn is a comfortable 3-star hotel located in the capital of Europe, a lively city!
You will find many museums: Old and Modern Arts, Musical instruments, Chocolates and Cocoa, Belgian Centre for Comic Strip Art, Horta (art nouveau), a Beer brewery, etc.
When you are in Brussels you should definitely visit the famous Grand Place, considered as the most beautiful square of Europe.
Belgians are known for their gourmet taste. You have to taste our fine Belgian beers, excellent chocolates and delicious waffles!
Since Brussels offers many gourmet possibilities, there is no restaurant in the hotel. it would be a pity not to try the good restaurants.
You find the restaurant "Le Chambord" with belgian-french cuisine very close to the hotel.
Also just a few minutes walk is the famous art nouveau restaurant "De Ultieme Hallucinatie".
Near the Grand Place you will find the famous restaurant street "Rue des Bouchers".

Second time I stayed in this hotel. Very convenient location. Surroundings a bit "dubious". Pay TV did not work in my room. Electric kettle leaked.

the hotel has seen better days. there for 3 days. hated to return to the place every night & looked briefly for another hotel. it really stunk. they did provide a fan which helped a little in the heat but I don't know how you'd survive the smell of the place with the windows closed even in cooler weather. The location was OK, we could walk to the trAIN &downtown but after a day of sightseeing some of the basics of decent hotel were missing...and the smell, awful! The staff was minimally courteous but otherwise didn't seem to care about whether we'd be repeat customers. One of my most regrettable stays with venere.

The breakfast facilities were very poor. The food was in short supply with a lack of coffee, cutlery, plates etc. The hotel itself was fine but the breakfast service leaves a lot to be desired.
