I dont think the employees were polite to the customers! If you need to use a hairdryer, then you need to go down to collect it, and you need to bring it down back after using it. the most stupid thing a hotel can ask from its customers.

Nice hotel room,employees very helpful with things to see.Only about a 10 minute walk to the city centre and train station very close as well. free parking out the front.

Very clean. A bit unique as we had a loft for a bathroom in our room. The neighborhood was convenient to everything, but a little scarey.

The room was normaly clean but I saw a big cockroach walking around. The room was really very small. The breakfast was very poor. Late in the evening and early in the morning you heard the noise of the trains. But the worst thing are the surroundings of the Hotel, ubly and full of strange people... I would say even dangerous for a girl alone. I won't be back to that hotel and if possible I will avoid that district.

the people from the hotel was kind. The hotel is near the center. We have a problem only with the Circus near the hotel. And in the hotel we have a problem with the stairs. Their are very small.

les chambres sont beaucoup trop petites 55 euros pour un chambre minuscule, 70 euros pour une chambre à peine plus grande, petit déjeuner vraiment réduit au minimum, café froid, pain super industriel.

The hotel is not in a good location, and is not safe. My portable computer has been stolen from the room, in 3 more rooms things were stolen – computers, photograph machines, mobile phones…, and the Solys hotel didn’t assume their responsibilities, I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. You can find a much better and safe hotel, in Brussels, for less money and better quality, in a better place, and, for sure, with a more conscientious and responsable manager.

Having stayed at affordable hotels on numerous occations, I must say this is probably one of the most nightmarish places I've ever stayed at. While living at affordable prices, one still expects a certain standard - and most hotels will keep doing their best to give what they can for what they are paid. Having an air-condition out of order is of course something that could accidentally happen to anyone. But when the hot water was missing for two days, they could have at least offered to give us another room. We figured it might have had something to do with the hallway light being out, but we never found out. After having addressed the reception three times - both members of the party - the third and last time we talked to them face to face (and not by hotel phone) we caught the receptionist sitting watching TV. This was after having promised three times to come up and check on the, seemingly, easy problems. The staff would not give us a new room, they would not refund or compensate for the horrendous service and room amenities we received, and they were not very helpful when we came with what we thought was a couple of simple and easy problems to overcome.
