The hotel location (proximity of Gare du Midi station) is excellent - 5 minutes walk. However, the hotel is not well maintained. The window in our room was open - couldn't be closed. The window hinges had fallen off and it was "tied" to the wall, somehow, so that it won't fall off. We didn't notice this at first, becasuse there was a curtain in front of it. However, later in the night, the open window caused "noise" problem as well as it was extremely cold at night. I informed about this to the hotel owner the next morning, and he responded as if he is unaware of the problem and that he is fix it soon. But, we just stayed there for one night. The price was good, if the window was okay. You don't question the minimum requirements of the hotel - that it should have a room, a window, a lock etc. and my experience at Continental raises a doubt whether the hotel is maintained well enough.
Btw, the breakfast was included and very good though.

it depends on what you are expecting. if you expect a four star hotel youre definitely wrong here. if your happy with an accomodation which offers you a nice, clean room and a very good and satisfying breakfast with good service, which is affordable, your right here.
of course, its a little bit noisy, but you will soon appreciate the location next to the mainstation and not far from the town centre.quintessence:luxury for travellers living on a small budget

This hotel is in a dogey part of town and the beds are like something out of a prison . Can't complain about the price so if you are on a budget this might be the place for you. Also the staff are friendly and helpfull

Friendly and helpful personal but the hotel is situated near the main train station with busy streets around. There is always traffic in front of the hotel and the windows let this noise into your room. The bathroom was clean but very old. You can stay there, if your only purpose is to spend one or two nights and you want to save money.

NO ESTUVIMOS MUY CONVENCIDAS POR LO QUE OFRECE EL HOTEL, Y QUE AL LLEGAR ES OTRA COSA, NADA QUE VER, AUNQUE SE ESFORAZARON POR HACERNOS LA ESTANCIA AGRADABLE. ES UN POCO PELIGROSO EL SITIO DONDE ESTA UBICADO EL MISMO.

The hotel was more of a run-down hostel. Cats roaming the hallways and smelling up the building, shared bathrooms, dirty comforter, view of another room torn down and under construction, and in a very bad neighborhood. Not recommended!

The room itself was very clean and nice. However, the room was probably the noisest one I have ever been in. The street outside is always busy and is very loud. Also, our room was right beside their neon sign. If there were heavy curtains to block out the light, this would have made it slightly easier to sleep. The staff/ owners were very knowledable and helpful. Just wish we could have slept!

Right in the middle of the Indian area, very close to both railway station and subway, hotel owned by Indians, with clean and well furnished though simple and small rooms, and fine service provided by efficient and sober employees.
Bad sides: pretty noisy (streets and railways...) and very poor breakfast!

The hotel rooms are clean and the staff friendly. However, with only a single small fan, it was difficult to sleep. It was very humid and hot during nights. The hotel is located close to Brussels(sud)and the noise level is much more than normal throughout night. The breakfast could be better.

Very near to station. Room quality and surroundings is not good. shared bathroom. (He asked for additional money for a private bathroom which was not inline with the booking). Bathroom was not of a good quality. However, Easily approachable from station. Good food quality at hotel. Hospitable staff and english speaking.
