Hotel short distance from station and easy to find in a quiet street. Basic hotel but had everything you could need and very clean. Good breakfast for its grade, and friendly staff. Walking round Brig we thought the Ambassador is better than the other hotels we saw. We had one of the cheapest rooms that had a very small shower room/wc but adequate as there is little to keep you in brig, except for good access to all parts of Switzerland, spectacular train journeys and the Aletsch Glacier.

Grotty, pokey room with no tea & coffee making facilities. Had to pay to gain WiFi access. I was charged a further 5CHF on top of room cost for "City Tax" at no point in ANY of the literature from either Venere or actually at the Hotel is this mentioned! 3* hotel? I've stayed in better bed & breakfast facilities in the UK and the Hostels I stayed in subsequently were much better. Hotel closed at 11am on a Sunday, so was unable to leave luggage there and explore the town. Was made to feel most unwelcome. Certainly won't go there again and wouldn't recommend it

A delightful surprise at the end of a very long trip. We stayed over-night on the way to Zermatt. The hotel was a good value, breakfast fair but the in house restaurant was very good. Brig had more to offer than the travel guides suggested.

stayed one night at the hotel. it was close to the train station and convenient if you are making a connection to somewhere. the hotel is clean. the breakfast was all right, but don't try the restaurant for dinner etc. they either need a new chef, or the meat was purchased a long time ago. Most guest here are in their sixties. We look odd in this place.

This was a well priced, good value for money hotel that is located close to train station and restaurants. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate with fresh bread and cold cuts. One small concern was laminated wooden floors were a little noisy but I would definately recommend this hotel to my friends.

very fine hotel, which is perfectly located on a quiet street just a hundred metres from the Brig station, and also within a short walking distance from downtown pedestrian zone. it seems to be recently renovated, rooms are big and very clean, and the restaurant serves very fine food!
