Very nice, clean and calm place to stay in Bologna. It was only difficult to find it, because the local name ist different. Should be better explained on the webside. A good place for families.

bungalow rooms are clean and spacious. We asked for double bed but we got twin. after 10PM you have to leave your car outside the camping and walk 5 mins to reach the bungalow. no air conditioning. you cannot reach the center of the city without a car.

I did not find a hint in the prospektus, that the use of the kitchen (including glases, knifes ...) is not allowed for stages with less than 7 days.

I really enjoyed staying at this place. Plasce was clean and soacious. I think if they would have served coffee for us or kept a coffee machine in the room would have been great.

The only thing is the bus service into Bologna was very poor and only came every 2 hrs which is very poor. The walk into the city centre is a leg breaker.

the travelling from downtown to the hotel was not very good as the only bus.no.68 just went every 2 hours, so I had no other choice as taking a taxi back to the hotel. All other things regarding the hotels were excellent.

I would stay here JUST BECAUSE the two owners of the snack bar are GORGEOUS!! They are the most wonderful people I have ever met. I only knew them for 1 hour before I felt like I had known them a life time. We stayed in a bungalow and found it quite horrid to travel from the city. The directions on this site were to catch bus number 68 HOWEVER after finding which bus stop to catch it from AND then waiting over 40 minutes until the bus arrived, we were told by the bus driver to get off his bus and when I asked him if he was going to Hotel Centro Turistico Citta di Bologna, he told me no! I suggest the hotel take this up as it is not good publicity for their hotel to advertise catching this bus when the bus drivers say to get off. We then had to pay for a taxi to get here so instead of paying 1 or 2 euro we ended up paying 9 or 10 (I forget exactly). However, this was the only problem with our experience with this hotel. I would like to say that the cleaning staff deserve a medal. The rooms are absolutely spotless and after making a little mess, they were only too happy to come in and clean the place for us - and I mean clean to the point of absolutely SPOTLESS!! Staff at the front desk were not AMAZING but the snack bar staff distracted us from thinking anything of it. I would say that if the snack bar staff were not there, then the experience of this hotel would probably not be as highly rated. I would recommend staying here just to meet the snack bar staff! Truly gorgeous people!

Staff very friendly and competent. Excellent value for money. Free wi-fi internet access - yes, but only 15 minutes are free. Then you have to pay 2 EUR per hour or 3 EUR per two hours.

Clean, quiet, surrounded by a park, very cheap priced if you consider what you get. Public transportation is not that efficient expecially at night. On foot it's about 45 minutes from the train station. Highly recommended.

Fortunately once in the area it is very well indicated. Excellent for a quick stay, easy to check-in & check-out, also with a car. The room was well conditionated, hot water.

At first we thought the hotel was a bit out of the way, however, it was easy to get around and the surroundings were safe. Excellent service was given, especially from Manuela and Mauro at the bar....they were friendly and helpful at all times.

It has a hip and cosmopolitan mood. Altough I am Italian, it was as if I were in a north European facility. So cool! (Maybe because there were a lot of people that were there for the Pearl Jam concert, like us)

We stayed here for two day with 9 people, 5 children. The houses were clean, spacious and airconditioned !!!. Good camping facilities (bar, washing place, games,...) and a nice pool. I regret the fact that there where no other sporting facilities and that you were not allowed to use the kitchen in the house if your stay was less then a week. It's much better than the presentation on the web. Tip. try the grill restaurant near by, it's lovely.

excellent surprise, but the announcement was very misleading (many things not mentioned). 1-the bungalow is in a camping (not mentioned), hence there is a swimming pool (not mentioned). 2-the center of town is reachable only by car (not the 5 minutes announced, rather 15) 3-the bungalow has a fridge and air conditioning (not mentioned) As to Bologna: don't miss the civic medieval museum, nor a shopping spree during the summer sales under the arcades

Kitchen facilities (as mentioned in the description) are only available w/a minimum 15 day stay...no restaurants in area, should be noted. We were pleased overall, travelling w/2 children at the end of a long trip - the pool was a welcome change

Never had such an excellent bathroom in an italian hotel. For two persones very much space in comperison with normal hotelrooms. The stuff of the bar is very kind, helpful and courteous. Excellent food, everything is made fresh. The only little critic is: maybe one comfortable chair in the room would be nice...

Des bungalows dans un cadre agréable. L'endroit est suffisamment éloigné de Bologne et de l'autoroute pour être au calme. Et pas trop loin du centre ville pour aller se balader. Nécessité d'avoir une voiture. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

The only real qualm about the "hotel" that I found was that it in no way indicated that it was a CAMPING hotel. The staff in the cafe was exceptionally kind, the outdoor pool was in excellent condition, and the clientele was made up of other very friendly travelers. The bus arrived every two hours right in front of the building, and they even offered limited free access to the internet. But it never said it was a camping hotel! They actually referred to the "chalet" as a mobile home. Yes, we were in a mobile home duplex. Everythign was clean, the mattresses a bit flat, and spaciousness was lacking. But for €40, certainly a good deal. But do not forget what venere won't tell you: IT IS A CAMPING HOTEL. A nice camping hotel.

This 'chalet' was never advertised to be more than it was. You can see in the pictures that it is pretty much a trailer. It had 2 beds and a private bath. It was spacious enough for my wife and I. There were also 'bungalows' at the site, and they seemed nice enough, especially at the price quoted. The only downfall I can think of for this campsite is that it is somewhat difficult to reach the site by bus if you are the type who likes to stay out late. The last bus runs around 9pm. The driveway closes to vehicle traffic at 11pm, so if you do stay out late, you will have to walk to your lodging from the gate (although it is not far from the gate). This is really a no-frills place to stay, although it is great value for money (it beats a hostel by a long shot). When we arrived we were given a small map of the city, which included some of the tourist sites and also things like grocery stores. I would recommend the Centro Turistico Citta di Bologna to just about anybody. You don't have too spend too much money, it's comfortable, and it's not too difficult to find if you follow the directions. If we ever return to Bologna, we would stay here again.

The bungalow was extremely clean and attractive - the bathroom was superb! How we wish there had been a sitting area though, just a few comfortable chairs to sit on instead of propping ourselves up on kitchen ones after a heavy day out and about! The transport arrangements were good with the local bus at the door - excellent value for money. Thanks for a great stay!

i was shocked and no less disappointed when we FINALLY found this "hotel" after about one hour of getting lost. when we called for directions, the man was condescending and unspecific. i use the word "hotel" loosley, because our accomodations were actually a TRAILER. as per the venere sight, i had no indications whatsoever that this was a CAMPGROUND. the price seemed right at the time (50 euro), but was on the high end considering what we got. there were ants all over the bathroom, but the management offered us no compensation. overall, i liked the ease of use of the website, but the accomodations were atrocious. i hope this helps!

The fact that we could not use the kitchen on a short stay was a surprise. I did not see any information about that when I booked. The shop could have a broader assortement. Offer use of the kitchen for all stays!

We were very impressed with the value. However it would be an impossible place to stay without a car. The electricity went out on us. They said we had to be using too much, but this was not so. During the night we only used the air conditioner which fused the electricity in the room.

The rooms were scrupulously clean, comfortable, clean towels every day, most staff helpful and surrounding park nice, however, this is about all that can be said in favour. The few minutes from city centre stated on website turned out to be 20mins by bus which only runs every two hours from 9am or 15 mins walk + 15 mins by bus if wanting to leave earlier. The last bus back from the city centre is 8.40pm so no good if you want to go out in the evening. Although the site does have a 'restaurant/bar/minimarket' of sorts this sells very little, (it looks far better in the pictures on the website than it really is) and if you arrive late in the evening as we did there is nowhere to get a drink or anything to eat. The bungalows are described as self catering, however, no self catering equipment is provided if you want equipment it is an extra 10 euros per day and the items must be hired for a minimum of 15 days meaning it costs 150 euros extra if you want a kettle - this is not stated on the website. There is a very nice swimming pool but if you want to go out sightseeing as we did and not stay on site there is no opportunity to us it - don't know what time it opens as we never saw it open even on the couple of mornings when we didn't leave the site until 11am. The worst feature about the site was the noise. In a field next to the site was some sort of tunnel shaped marquee structure - we soon found out that this was used for nightly rock concerts which on went on until the early hours of the morning with the volume gradually getting louder, this was exceptionally bad on the night AC Milan won the European Cup - the volume was loud enough to wake the whole of Bologna and went on until 3am. No doubt the double glazing in the bungalows was meant to keep the noise out but with temparatures of between 31 and 35 degrees celsius the heat inside the bungalow was unbearable with the windows closed. Shutters meant that it was safe to leave the windows open over night and let
