lower to boardering on middle i guess. my online booking could not be found, even after waiting in reception for over 30 mins.... this caused me to miss my dinner reservations with my colleagues! i ended up with a below par twin room with a dirty toilet etc......

Excellent city centre location but obviously that meant a noisy start to the morning! However that didn't bother us as we had to be up early anyway. I was happy with the price booked on line but pleasantly surprised to find on arrival breakfast was included - a bonus.
Have already booked to stay again as the location is so ideal for train travellers.

In winter it's a horrible hotel. Your only choice: cold at night and freezing or waking up with the heating at 5 o'clock. Terrible. And the hotelmangare is unfriendly and don't want help. Never, never, never again. Except you like to get torture.

This hotel was possibly the worst I have ever stayed in. The communal areas had wallpaper peeling of the walls. The lift broke (I was on the eighth floor) and I was allowed to use the service lift which had such a foul stench that I thought I would be sick. The bed cover was clearly very old and faded - it was also stained with apparently fresh body fluids on both the top and underneath. The sheet had a bloodstain on it. The bathroom vent was covered with filth and had clearly not been cleaned for some time. The windows did not fit properly and the curtains billowed out when closed because of the draughts. I was charged £5 more than the price published online.

The hotel was in a great location but the room it self was not really satisfying. The bathroom was really small, no air conditioning, and it wasn't really clean. The pictures shown on the website seem to be from when the hotel first opened. When we got there it looked worn out and not too clean.

This hotel was described by Venere as "recently refurbished" and four star. It was neither. The photographs on the web site were not of this hotel. It was very very shabby and quite the worst hotel I have experienced for a long time. My room was next to old engineering plant and very noisy. I had to change rooms at 1.00 in the morning. the next room was a little quieter but still shabby. I would never advise anyone to stay here.
