Wonderful Hotel, Perfect design every detail is as we expected. We recommend the breakfast on the top of the hotel with the view on the Guggenheim Museum.

Wonderful sight! But existed highway between
room and museum, very noisey especially early
morning.
Room itself is wonderful. What a bath rooom!
Very near to tram station to reach old town.

I would recommend the Gran Hotel Domine Bilbao to all visitors to Bilbao. Not only is it opposite the Guggenheim Museum, the actual design of the Hotel itself is marvellous. It is also close to a new tram system that takes you to the grand music hall, as well as other parts of the city. There is also a lovely walk along the river close by. The service was excellent, as was the breakfast (both the location on the 7th floor and the buffet). Our only wish was that we had stayed longer. Having booked a room with a view of the museum and river made the stay extra special.

The location near the museum and within easy walking distance of the old city is ideal. The staff was very helpfull with all my problems and their kowledge of Englilsh and local customs was very conforting.

If you prefer a well designed hotel this is one of the best. The location directly next to Gehry/Gugenheim and not so far to the town centre is also very good.

'A room with a view' - watching the sun set on the silver scales of the Gu, while sitting in a Philip Stark inspired egg bath sets a precedent. Uber stylish, underpinned by very friendly and efficient staff, GHDB maintains very high standards. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, provides a wonderful base to take advantage of 1euro pinxos. A twin exec room was spacious but more importantly boasted a wooden decked bathroom floor with glass wall. Nice. Execellent value when put up against London prices - one more reason to visit Bilbao.

The Txoko Tranquilo corner features a library with a complete collection of graphic design, architecture and interior design books. This lounge manages to create a relaxing and warm atmosphere to read peacefully. In winter, when its chimney is lit up, the the atmosphere is even more welcoming.
