This hotel was one of our favorites in Italy. It is truly a gem within the small medieval town of Bettona. Quiet, peaceful, lovely, church bells ringing. The historic buildings making up the hotel have all been beautifully renovated; our room overlooked the valley and in the distance Assisi. The staff were very friendly and helpful in directing us to two other lovely medieval towns out in the countryside. The breakfasts were our best so far, and dinner excellent with nice ambiance. We enjoyed our wine in the evening on the patio overlooking the valley. While there, the Town celebrated their patron saint's birthday with a parade around the outer walls below our bed room, candles lining the way, a band playing, and everyone in the Town following the clergy. It was very special to witness this; not something we would see in the U.S.

By car
From north on A1 highway Firenze-Roma take the exit Valdichiana, proceed in direction of Perugia and after Perugia continue on the E45 in direction of Roma-Terni. Exit at Torgiano, pass it and follow the indications to Bettona and to the Relais La Corte.
From south on A1 highway Roma-Napoli take the exit Orte, proceed on the E45 in direction of Perugia and exit at Torgiano. From there follow the indications above.
