The hotel's emplacement is ideal for those who want to visit the western part of the city. Next to the KaDeWe fabulous department store, any purchases can be brought back to your hotel room before continuing your stroll to the Kurfuerstendamm. It is true that the full buffet breakfast is pricey but it is well worth, given the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the service in the breakfast room. To those wishing to visit the Eastern part of the city with the Museum Island, Friedrichstrasse, Alexander Platz, Unten den Linden Ave. and the Brandenburg Gate it is recommended to book a hotel in that part of the city.

Very nice welcome at 10 pm.
Got upgraded room at no extra cost.
Spacious and very quiet room at top floor on "back" side of the hotel. (Room 704).
Would recommend KaDeWe shopping center 2 min. walk away from hotel , with a nice buffet restaurant on top floor.
Easy communications with city center by nearby subway station Wittenberg Platz.

Fantastic location (don't let the 1970s concrete buildings adjacent and opposite put you off)- walking distance to the major arts/cultural centres, tiergarten, zoo and the main shopping street with the KaDeWe store was quite literally just around the corner. Choice of breakfasts was superb - the E6 croissant buffet was sufficient if you were in a hurry. The E13 buffet breakfast was excellent. We particularly appreciated the access to free tea and coffee via dispensing machines on each floor. Very pleasant and helpful reception staff. Would happily return here again and will recommend to others.

Some friends who went to this hotel before us stayed in the President Club side to the hotel. They paid less and got bath robes, slippers, free sweets, marble bathroom, more soft chairs in their room. Can't understand why there are two halves to the hotel but the stay was enjoyable. Restaurant was a bit pricey. Breakfasts seem strange, choice of 6 euro or 14 euro. We were never asked which we wanted and one morning I had only 2 croissants and cup of coffee but was charged 14 euro. The staff were very efficient and friendly and our room was clean and tidy.

We stayed 3 nights during the Easter and liked the hotel. It's very close to KaDaWe and the underground station at Wittenberplatz, so the hotel is perfectly situated.
The only thing I didn't like is that breakfast wasn't included - and that the surchage was a hefty €14 per night per person. We decided to eat elsewhere.

Hotel conveniently situated for shopping and christmas market. Staff very helpful. Free tea and coffee machines on each floor from which to help yourself. Rooms o.k. but of course you have the choice of a suite if you feel inclined. Would definitely return to this hotel when next in Berlin. Just watch out if using the Berlin city circle tour bus if you happen to be on the last bus. You could be abandoned miles from where you started and in the dark without as much as an apology.

The hotel is very convenient for the famous KaDaWe department store (you MUST visit the 6th floor for all manner of foodstuff and great mini restaurants!), as well as the Wettenberg Platz U-Bahn station. Ku'damm is also not far. Interesting note: Wettenberg Platz and its immediate surrounding area seem to be a popular hangout for gay people!

Great location! Very near the Zoo station. It took only 15 min. The hotel was good to rest at night, very quite indeed. But bathroom was a little bit dated. I was very impressed by coffee machine in the hall! It is excellent idea! Overall, I had a great holiday in Berlin!!!

Great hotel, well located in West Berlin near the Kurfurstendamm shopping street and the KaDeWe store. Spacious, quiet room with separate sitting area. There's a terrific gourmet restaurant called Aleksander's in the building - don't go anywhere else! Specializes in game and vegetables with exotic accompaniments beautifully presented on heated plates. New Year's Eve was smashing! However, you might want to seek out a bakery-cafe down the block for breakfast to avoid the 14-Euro price for their buffet. They DO have an airport shuttle which is not mentioned in Venere - ask about it. All in all, a great experience and we'd go back in a minute!

Location excellent, near to Ka De Ve store, nearest underground station Wittenberger platz. Hotel just short walk away. Hotel bar fairly expensive. No kettle in room, but free room service for hot drinks. Breakfast was extra 14 euros per person, but extensive choice and constantly replenished by staff.

The location is the best about this hotel. The room is ok and clean. A change of the carpet would be a good idea as it is old and does not look very clean. A number of service offers are not carried through as offered. I arranged for a ride to the airport, but when I checked to confirm the night before my departure, I found out that it was not done as promised. they also offer tea or hot beverage delivered to the room. when I requested it, it was not delivered for over an hour.

Very nice hotel inside, but extremely difficult to find, with the directions and map provided. We walked around the area for an hour trying to find it. Staff was also unfriendly, discourteous, and apathetic to our unfortunate experience with such poor directions. Room was on major street and very noisy, no A.C. Otherwise, amenities were nice and clean.

It was great to stay in the Best Western President. The room was very clean and the people friendly. The next time, I'd like to stay there again. To the next U-Bahn station it takes you only 5 minutes to walk.

Good quality hotel meets expected 4 star standard and value for money. Free Tea Coffee Hot Chocolate via 24 room service is a nice touch and makes up for no in room tea/coffee facility. Also free tea/coffee served in lounge after breakfast for smokers - another nice touch. Good location for main shopping area (Kurfurstendamm Str & Ka De Ve Dept Store, also for rail network - 3mins walk to Nollendorfplatz, connecting e.g to East Berlin (Alexanderplatz) 10mins (2 euros) by train, where there is much to see and a definite contrast to the West. From Alex Pl walk to Brandenburg Gate (East meets West)taking many points of interest in enroute, as well as shops bars & restaurants.

Though the price does not include the breakfast, i'm willing to pay for the excellent services they provided at this reasonable price. Staff are friendly and the location is quite good. It's very near to the shopping area. I should live there if i visit Berlin once again.

The hotel has superb bar and professional bar tender who looks after us very well throughout our stay.
We checked in the hotel very late and the hotel restaurant was closed but the bar served us top quality light meal and he gave us very warm welcome although the bar was quite busy
and he was only guy who look after thd bar(looks like all time). That`s why I want to call him professional. The hotel gave us very good impression of Berlin. No doubt, we`ll come back again for our next visit of Berlin.
Best value for the quality.

Both the surroundings and the internal environment was what we were looking for when we choose Berlin.
Nice shops in the neighbourhood and access to communication facilities as busses, train etc gave us the best startpoint for our activities.

Just a note to remind you that not all your employers speak a well english (not to mention Italian).
And Euro 10 for my motorbike in a dark corner of the parking (not in a signed space)is too much.
Anyway I enjoyed my stay in your hotel
