The reservation was not fully correct as they received only one single room reservation ,but I checked for a double room too. The staff solved the problem efficiently and in a correct way. The two different price for a single room is not fully understandable for me but all in all was an acceptable pricing.

This hotel is obviously a business hotel. It is wel taken care of, with very nice rooms, spacious bathroom. It is not very personal. The staff is very kind and helpfull, but because it is so large you have no personal connection to the people who work there.
The location is excellent. Right next to the station Friedrichstrasse, so only 50 meters to U-Bahn, S-Bahn, trams, trains, busses. In walking distance of Unter den Linden, Museum insel, Gendarmenmarkt, etc.
A lot of possibilities to have breakfast in the area. Restaurants nearby or one stop to Hackische hofe with the S-bahn.

Hotel Jolly Vivaldy is modern and nice. It is situated in the very center of the city, an undeground station is just infront of the entrance. Sightseeing and shopping area is very easy reachable either by foot or by underground. A room was clean and nice. We came at 9am in the morning and despite the official checking inn time is 3pm, our room was ready. Also we were alowed to stay in the room a couple of hours after chek out time. The only bad thing was a bed which is too small and uncomfortable for a couple. You have to control yourself to avoid falling down at night.

An excellent hotel in a perfect location. Everything in the Berlin old town was within a quick stroll. Tube/railway station was across the road, plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel provides excellent breakfast, well worth its price. Would definitely stay again.

Jolly Vivaldi Berlin is a very good hotel at a very central location (train and metro at your doorstep), within walking distance of important sites. It was absolutely great value for money. We would definitely return here the next time. There are lots of bakeries nearby for a quick breakfast and coffee shops like Starbucks. For an extensive breakfast we went to Einstein Cafe at Unter den Linden. A nice Berlin pub, where you can also have a cheap, typical German meal, is Bar Treffpunkt Berlin in Mittelstrasse. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood, for example at the Schiffbauerdamm and Albrechtstrasse, at the other side of the river Spree.

Lovely modern rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Despite being right opposite the train station the room was really quiet, so all of the benefits of good transport links without being awake all night! Lots of shops nearby and all the tourist sights are easily reached. The immediate area hasn't the best choice of nightlife but with the station so close good areas can easily be reached.
The only thing that could improve the room would be to have coffee/tea making facilities - other than that it was great.

Brilliant Hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the Hotel. The rooms were picture perfect, very modern and slick. The location was within 50 metres of Friedrichstr station very easy to get to from the airport (Schonefeld). There was a very tasty pizza place under the rail station that was superb made fresh and by a perfectionist. Was very easy to get around Berlin from this station to all the tourist attractions.

I booked 3 rooms, but when I got there, only 1 was still on the hotels computer. They suggested that Venere had cancelled the booking. Luckily, there were some room left for my colleagues. I think that this might be worth investigating why this happened. I hope to use Venere again this week for my mother.....but I need to know that she'll have a room when she gets to Vienna!!

Every thing was Ok, but
to obtain hot water in the wash-basin and in the shower you must turn on the tap at the maximum! it is impossible to have hot water at a normal or low quantity. This is an very bothersome for the guest and great waste for the hotel.

In addition to everything being perfect, even the Vivaldi musak, the location only a few yards from the Friedrickstrasse U-Bahn gave me super direct connection to Tegel Airport. The Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island were within easy walking distance.

Everything fine except for one snooty and incompetent staff member, but manager did apologise and appeared to take our complaint about the guy very seriously, so can't really fault the hotel. Definitely recommend the hotel to others, location is awesome, and rooms are really quiet (and quite nice) despite proximity to train tracks. Engl. lang. tv channels only CNN and BBC World. Comfortable beds, very efficient air conditioning.

Comfortable and modern hotel, close to the Unter den Linden, and next to friedrickstr.
DB, U and S-Bann stations, (rooms were quiet!). This provided excellent transport links around the city and the station has many shops, food outlets and bakeries, that stay open late. The surrounding streets also have good restaurants. We will definitely stay there on our next visit.

The price I paid was not as arranged. I had to pay extra for the carpark.
There was a terrible noise in the room from the heating system that could not be fixed. It stopped when the heater was off, which we did during thr night. No alternative room was available only snoking suites.
Upon arrival we were given a room next to the railroad track which was very noisy, so we requested another room. First they offered us a smoking room and than in the end we got a non smoking room howver as said there was this noise that wook us at 6: 30 in the morning.
The health spa fitness equipment was all broken except for a worn out ergo bycicle. There were no towels in the sauna area. Everybody took there own from the room. I complained and it took almost half an hour befored they were delivered.

I liked the hotel alot. Its location was perfect and returning each day to the welcoming notes of Vivaldi playing in the lobby and elevators was lovely. The room was very modern, well furnished and comfortable. The non smoking floor was great and the room was well insulated from traffic and rail noise. I would stay here again
My only criticisms are that I did not get the early morning wake up call I requested and I think venere.com customer service is very poor. I had sent an email trying to find out whether taxes were included in the price quoted as your web page was not clear. It took 10 days to get a reply and the reply was very vague.
