excelent stay, location, staff, breakfast. Room is noisy and hot. Fan can be requested. Make sure the breakfast is done 10.30 not 10:35 Highly recomandable but not during summer months.

It is a very good hotel. The location is excellent with both busses and U-bahn in close vicinity. The only problem is the noise. It was some warm days in April (15-18) and the room was hot. An opened window meant lots of noise from traffic and a closed was too hot. Kind regards Jeanette Hansen

I spent 6 days in this hotel in early July 2006 with a friend of mine. The hotel is well situated for travel to all parts of Berlin, with a U-Bahn station only 20 metres away. The room was fine,and the cleaning well up to standard. The room faced on to the square, which made it somewhat noisy. More important, it was very stuffy in the heat wave temperatures of that time. An electric fan was immediately produced when requested, which improved the situation. Those who are asthmatic or susceptible to heat would need to reconsider using this hotel during the summer months. (I would stress that the temperatures at this time were exceptional.) The breakfast room was light and airy, the range of foods available was excellent, and the cutlery and dishes always clean and well presented. I would put this part of the stay under "excellent" and the rest under "very good". The whole experience was well within and even a little above my expectations.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
Proceed along the highway A115 until the Funkturm motorway junction. There you have to change to the highway A100 in direction of the Schönefeld airport. Take the exit Tempelhofer Damm and continue in direction of the Tempelhof airport. Turn right into Columbiadamm, then left into Herrmannstraße, proceeding in direction of Herrmannplatz. You will recognize the hotel after about 200 metres on your left hand side.
