The hotel has everything for your vacation, at least on paper. It is a large hotel, with spacious rooms, four swimming pools (2 for children), entertainment, etc. The entertainment part was quite OK, the restaurant and bar are quite well run.
However, the "hardware" part is not so good... The technical check of the elevators is overdue, one of them was so noisy that you could think it was a trashbin pulled on a rope! The rooms on the ground level are quite damp, without the possibility to leave the windows open all day. The furniture could be better maintained, too.
All in all we had a good time there, but with a bit more effort from their side it could have been really perfect!

Hotel was fine, close to plenty of beaches, plenty of English and Irish pubs nearby, although "Murphy's Place" next door to the hotel is to be avoided! If anyone actually worked there was Irish (which they were not, and I am), they could tell you the "Cead Mile Failte" on the signs outside is not at all in keeping with the rest of the pub and its lack of atmosphere. I didnt return as there are several other, much better pubs around the corner on the main street.

Maybe I was unlucky with my visit?
On the third day in the hotel I was writing letters in my room when a large mirror suddenly fell off the wall, hit me on the head, and knocked me to the floor.
A few days later I was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering from severe gastro-enteritis. As everything I had eaten or drank had been prepared in the hotel I have to assume the problem was due to the hotel meals. By the time I fully recovered and was able to eat and drink normal food my 2 weeks holiday was over.
Parking was sometimes a nightmare.
There were no facilities for laundering clothes so I had to buy some more.

The hotel is well up a hill from the beach, locals called cardiac hill. A inexpensive holiday hotel with nice pools on the property. The first night we were place in a room on the first floor over the bus stop that was very noisy. We asked to be moved to the top floor and they managed to get us a room on the top floor that was less noisy. Room were small but adequate. The 5 euro breakfast was a good bargain.

At www.spanish-fiestas.com we assess hotel properties all over Spain. This one is suitable for young families with kids who are on a budget.
We went during UK school holidays when the place was packed with young families. We had to move rooms as the smell of smoke was terrible in the first and hardly any better in the second (there are no non-smoking rooms).
Pool and bar area are good but often packed.

We felt that this hotel catered in the main for package tours and in that respect it lacked the intimacy of the type of hotel that we as independant travellers were looking for.
We only took breakfast in the hotel but we felt that the food was good and there was quite a good choice.
