The employees were most helpful, particularly Salvo (who talked us to the site of the property which unfortunately is located in an industrial portion of Bari). apparently 4km from ferry port - well maybe by crow-fly but not by car! For us lost souls without navigation, knowing you need junction 8 off the Tangenziale [ring road] for the SS96 direction Modugno wouild have been a great help! That said room was great, bed huge and comfortable and we were made welcome by all. Stayed in a family room the size of a football pitch!

The directions to the hotel were not good. there was no actual address to put into GPS. The hotel was advertised as a Best Western and having stayed in BW hotels before, I expected to see it advertised as such (on roof, on signs). In actual fact it just had Hotel HR on roof and we stopped at it just to ask directions to the BW - only to see a sticker on the door and realised we were at the correct place.

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
