| This structure is located between two of the most important Gaudi's palaces: Casa Batlló and La Pedrera.
Also nearby are the city's shopping and historic centre, with the most important monuments such as the Gothic Cathedral or the Picasso museum and Las Ramblas, a lively large pedestrian avenue that connects the city centre with the marina. |

Nice hotel but a bit faceless and overpriced. Our room was at the side so the window faced the concrete wall of a building about 1m away, not ideal in such a pretty city! Service was good though and I'm sure other rooms are nicer, although ours was allegedly an upgrade from the standard room. Excellent location and the Zeeroom is a nice touch.

A boutique-style hotel in the best location of Barcelona. It's so easy to get on any public transportation. Despite the fact that the room that we stayed (Functional room) and its bathroom is quite small, we still definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel facilities are in quite a poor shape. We had to change rooms (and pack/unpack again) because the TV was out of order and sliding doors were stuck denying us access to the bathroom. The hotel couldn't fix either and offered to move the following day. No apology, no offer to ugrade. The second room was smaller, bedside light regulators didn't work, terrace doors were stuck. Every time it took three calls downstairs and a few hours to have someone come and take a look at the problem - only to state that it can't be fixed.
On the positive side, the location is excellent, the Ask Me service was good and a pleasant ambience in the reading room / internet point. However, public areas are very hot, rooms very small (the difference btwn standard and superior is only in the terrace, so don't waste money on superior, you won't be able to use the terrace anyway, it's so hot out there). And definitely the hotel is overpriced. Overall, I found Prestige Paseo de Gracia very dissapointing. Modern design in itself does not guarantee a pleasant stay.

Great location, concierges, modern, and clean. Small, so there aren't a lot of "in-hotel" facilities. Only "complaints" I have: rooms were a little small (not too small -- I'm just used to large and very luxurious rooms), bathroom door was weird (hard to fully close) to get complete privacy), and the lighting system was unnecessarily complicated (e.g. good luck figureing out how to turn the bathroom lights on bright without turning on the bedroom lights....). The issues are minor, though -- I'd stay here again.

A very chic boutique hotel. The room we had was very high quality - I liked the boys toys (multiple control points for lighting electric blinds, Bang and Olufsen TV etc.) and all the very stylish fixtures and fittings.
Very helpful staff. Always able to help and "Ask Me" service was particularly useful for booking restaurants etc.
Good central location for shopping and sight-seeing. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is expensive for what is offered, although it is very handsome and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is excellent. The rooms are small and there is no seating except the bed. We were disappointed in the concierge service, which had been described as very efficient and well informed. We asked about going to two places. One had no record of our appointment when we arrived and the main exhibition in the other was closed for restoration. Both were out of the center of town so it was a real waste of our short time in the city.

Electronics in the rooms were far too complicated. In the executive room there was no place to write ( no writing table....). Bathroom was already borken after a few months, and some furniture in the room was already damaged

We loved this hotel Very chic and wonderful. The 'Ask Me' service was a tad weak, and the breakfast was pricey, but everything else was excellent. It was convenient to all areas, transportation, shopping, restaurants. We loved our private balcony. We recommend this hotel highly.

Once we moved from the "functional room" to a room with a balcony at the front of the hotel we were absolutely delighted with this small wonderfully efficient hotel. The "Show Me" concierge service was pariculalrly impressive staffed by young knowledgeable people who really did want your stay in Barcelona to be memorable. Breakfasts were excellent but the functional rooms are really only suitable for business people for short stays.

this hotel was very clean and service was good except the fact that our blind broke on the first day and was not fixed throughout the whole stay so we tried to sleep with the light glaring through the window for the whole stay. Other than that all was good.

The hotel was excellent as were the staff. Lacking was a convential restaurant although room service was provided. On the first floor a 'Zeroom' (their name!) was provided, manned by a competant hostess(s) where one could have breakfast, etc. in 'unusual' surroundings. This hostess also was able to give advice regarding shopping, what to see, etc., etc. although this service conflicted as to 'who did what' with the reception area. The hotel is excellently located but beware of falling over the sunken doorstep from the street and on first arrival, figuring out how the large main door opens. Also being in Spanish the lighting/window controls for the room were difficult to understand.

This hotel is a real gem. Our room was the most elegant hotel room I have ever stayed in! Your hotel will remain at the top of my list for a long time to come! Very clean except there were ants in the carpet in one spot in the room - how they got there will remain a mystery?!? A couple of other small points. The seating in the breakfast/bar area is lovely to look at but it is very uncomfortable to sit on - particularly for people with bad backs. Also the concierge was very helpful but english was not consistent with everyone we spoke to resulting in a couple of miscommunications. Not serious, but it would be good to have people more confident with other languages on duty on the weekends.

Impressive from the moment you arrive at the huge front door. Stylish throughout. Decor is modern/oriental. The room is very comfortable and entertaining with the intelligent lighting, free minibar and B&O tv which rotates towards you when switched on. The bathroom is a masterpiece of practical design. The whole hotel has little design touches which are fun and classy. The balcony gives a great view of Paseo de Gracia and the Gaudi designed building opposite.
Breakfast is a bit expensive, but worth trying for the selection and quality. The Zeroom, where you have breakfast is also where you find the Ask Me staff who are very helpful at finding places to visit and eat etc. Watch out though, we thought we had a restaurant booked and arived to be told we had no reservation and they were full. Overall its a great place to stay if you want to impress or be impressed, expect high standards and be ideally located.
