Great location, 3 minutes walk from La Rambla. Room was very clean and good sized. Wardrobe and lagguage provided enough space for clothes and bags. Breakfast was alright, Croissant and toast, only sweet toppings though. You are right in the city centre and can walk to most sights and even to the beach, saving on public transport. Therefore I consider the price to be alright, it is very difficult to find cheaper accommodation with in the same location and quality.

I think the best is locality of the hotel. You go out, take few step and reach subway. It takes five minutes to Plaza Catalunya, which is best point for starting sightseeing (La Rambla, Gothic city),you can change in it other subway lines. I was really satisfied. Services are good too, nice stuff there..no problem. My single room was really small, but if you are all day out, doesnt matter.

Excellent location. Rather expensive considering the poor breakfast. Our room had paper thin walls but luckily next door occupants quietened down after a few minutes. All staff members were polite and helpful.

Positive: Rooms clean (even bathroom!) but too small. Reception kind and helpfull. Hotel located nearby many touristic attractions and good restaurants (Tip: Antic Forn, Pintor Fortuny 28, reservation necessary!) Negative: Don´t take a room at the backside! Never. Dark, no daylight. The sight is like into a shaft. We stayed at end of April and it was very warm inside the room, so it must be horrible in summer!!! AC doesn´t work effective. Breakfast is a joke. Poor and unfriendly served.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By train
From Barcelona Sants train station, take L3 underground to Plaça Catalunya stop, transfer to L1 and get off at Universitat. You can also walk from Plaça Catalunya to the hotel.

By airplane
From Barcelona-El Prat International Airport, take the line 10 train Aeroport-Barcelona-Estació de França at the RENFE train station, and after a three stop ride, get off at the Sants stop. Once there, take L3 underground to Plaça Catalunya stop, transfer to L1 and get off at Universitat. You can also walk from Plaça Catalunya to the hotel.
