We enjoyed our stay at Le Mas des Lilas, my only problem is that there are no really close restaurants to walk to in the evening to eat. I'm sure it would be very successful if the hotel had its own restaurant. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Overall a good place to stay, especially if the weather is good.

Good value for money. The room was a little small and the bath a little cramped - but you can't argue with the price. I particularly liked the "breakfast flap" through which it was served in the morning. The owner was friendly and chatty and smiley.

Hotel Le Mas De Lilas proved to be an excellent location for access to motorways and into Auxerre itself although a bit more isolated than I had thought from the advertisement. The service was always first class and friendly. M and Mme Lilas are very hands on and helpful with excellent English spoken. The rooms are a bit on the small side but proved to be perfectly adequate with a small table and chairs where we could sit. Very good value for money. We would definitely go back

We really liked our cute little room and good towels, linens etc. Very small but we were only here for one night. Very good breakfast in the breakfast room or you have the option of it being delivered to your room. The host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Free safe parking was a big asset.

16 unconventional small but nice apartments in two oktogon-flats situated in a big garden near the river Yonne; cleaning and new towels every day; the owners very friendly and speaking english; not convenient for fastidious guests who prefer five-star-hotels but perfect for dayly excursions through bourgogne.

very good stay for the price. Breakfast was great- delivered to room and ate outside in the sun. Very near canal so could go out on bikes. A good place for a stop over of a few days. Quiet and peaceful- probably not suitable for children really. Room itself very small and quite unusual.

An agreeable and nice hotel for good price. Noticeably warm welcoming. Possibility to relax outside lying on a chair under trees just in front of the room. Unlimited WiFi internet connection for free. Breakfast can be delivered to the room. Close to Auxerre and to Chablis! Just excellent!
