The hotel is ideally situated in the most prestigious location of central Athens, which provides the perfect base for a stay in the Greek Capital city, only two blocks from Syntagma underground station.
Syntagma is the central square of Athens and it is adjacent to the Parliament and to Ermou Street, a one-km long pedestrian road ideal for sightseeing. The hotel's area provides easy access to many attractions as well as to the main shopping centres.

generally it was a very good hotel. the advantage was the location and that it was very clean the problem was the poor breakfast and that the hotel except breakfast does not serve anything else at any other time.

Very happy with the room, breakfast, location, etc., but staff could have been a little more helpful. But was nice they kept luggage for me even after checkout.

The accommodation was basic but adequate. We needed basic accommodation for one night, between flights and the Hermes was definitely OK for that. The price seemed high, but I think may not be for the centre of Athens. The elevator is seriously inadequate to handle the number of people. Also serious is the lack of a toilet accessible from the breakfast room/reception area. The toilet downstairs could only be accessed by the continually busy elevator.

The rooms were small but adequate. The only problem was that the room smelled of cigarettes, and I don't know that the hotel had any no smoking rooms.

By car
From Syntagma square, take Georgiou A street, and turn right onto Leoforos Vasilissis Amalias avenue. Then, turn right onto Souri street. Go straight ahead down Navarchou Nikodimou avenue and turn right onto Thoukydidou street. Finally, turn right once more: you are now on Apollonos, the hotel's street.
