A great hotel! Right there where you want to be in Athens. Costas at night is A GREAT GUY!! Helped us a lot. It is a little expensive if you used to be a backpacker... but it was worth it.

We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of our Greece trip and this hotel was walking distance to all the historic sights. We e-mailed the hotel prior to arrival to request a room with a view of the Parthenon. We enjoyed the breattaking view of the Parthenon on our balcony with a cold beer from the bar. The hotel is near the Plaka with plenty of restaurants and greek specialities. The hotel is also near the Akropoli metro stop that goes to the airport(6 Euro) for 2 people traveling together. We can recommend the Acropolis View to any one to see Athens in 1/2 days.

We received excellent customer service from the desk. They were helpful with restaurant tips and with making calls to the US and to the airlines. There is a Metro stop for Akropoli that is the most convenient and there are some nice restaurants not too far from the stop. You can also take the Metro directly to the airport. Be careful with taxis, they will overcharge you if given a chance. Ask at the desk for guidance regarding approximate fares.

The breakfast buffet was nice, and the location was convenient to the Acropolis but a hike to the metro.

Was promised and paid for an Acropolis View room, but did not get one. They do not have a rate for this, despite what is on this website. The rooms are OK, fairly small, but if you get a view room, you can see the Acropolis. You can easily hear your neighbors, no fun when they get in at 4am. The view from the top is quite nice. Great location.

Our one-night stay was necessarily brief, so we intended to reduce travel through a central location. The Acropolis View achieved that. It is probably the best situated hotel for the close-up view of the Acropolis (day and night views are amazing). The roof-top seating area provides an excellent spot for Acropolis photos and vistas of the city on the south side of the mount. While an extensive vista, the Acropolis blocks any view of the north side of Athens, but that's not missing much. The room was clean and neat, and everything worked as needed. Our room was nothing special - and in fact, being on the first floor (room 103), our window opened out to a sidewalk-level view of the raised street behind the hotel. I believe that there are better views available, we just didn't get one. The desk staff was helpful, although the restaurant they recommended didn't fit our request (we asked for local food with no music and were sent to an Italian restaurant with a piano player). They arranged for a taxi to the airport and advised on how much to pay. Storing bags on our departure day wasn't a problem either, and we were able to come back late in the afternoon to pick them up with the taxi. There are better hotels, but the location is excellent here for the Parthenon as well as the new Parthenon museum which is only blocks away.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! The rooms are small, but serviceable. We received superb service from the female hotel clerks.

This hotel is in a perfect spot, only few steps from the Parthenon. Fantastic view on the Acropole and a very nice terrace where you can have breakfast or a drink.

We stayed for 1 night at the end of our Greece trip and this hotel was near all the sights, clean and was a great way to end our holiday. The rooftop view was great. In the evening we grabbed a couple pizzas and beers on the rooftop overlooking the Parthenon while the orchestra played in the theater. We couldn't have had a better closing ceremony.

The location is great! Very nice view from the top of the roof. But my room was very, very small (more or less just had place for the double bed), didn't have a balcony, no view and it was very dark. Breakfast was very poor.

This hotel is functional and reasonable value because the location is stunning. I would recommend it because of this. The rooms were noisy though.

Good location. Very small rooms. Only the roof has a view of the Acropolis. Hotel does not email you back if you email them.

Given the moderate price, the hotel is a bargin. We stayed twice, in two different rooms. THe smaller had a view of the Pathenon from its balcony, the larger did not, but we arrived late in the evening. Both times we enjoyed the view from the roof, where drinks can brough and the view is fantastic. Best of all the mananger steered us two restaurants that were very good and in unlikely areas. His friendliness and advice made all the difference. The hotel is a short walk to the Acropolis metro station, a slightly longer walk to the main tourist areas in Athens.

Loved the location--easy to get around by foot. The taxi driver couldn't find it at first when we came in from the airport--the street sign Webster is almost invisable -especially at night.

Great location near Acropolis and great view from roof. Breakfast with nice variety. Dismal, dark box of a room, no decor, tiny window with view of opposite window fan. Woman at desk not interested in helping us change rooms, said there were none available, yet she was making same- night reservations on the phone as we stood at desk. Man at desk tried to send us to expensive restaurant run by his brother in law, which was given horrible reviews for food quality and high prices in Lonely Planet guide.

First two nights in a very good room that was full value. Several days later we came back but this time we got placed in a very small closet room and were charged more.

We liked our stay. Quiet area yet very close to great restaurants, shopping and historical sites. We did have a small leak with our toilet and some of the other guests were noisy at night but room comfortable and staff very helpful.

The rooms were very clean, but small. Bathroom had a leaking problem. Needed an electrical outlet. Very reasonable if need just a place to sleep. Most everything within walking distance. View of Acropolis was great. Would recommend and return in the future.

Acropolis View has a great location for traveler visited Athens for a day or two. The view from the rooftop and select rooms is wonderful (direct view of the Acropolis). The room was small, but a decent size for Europe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only challenge was finding the hotel on a map prior to arrival...use www.multimap.com.

We had a most enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend this hotel. The location was excellent, walking distance to tourist attractions, markets, shops and restaurants. Staff went out of their way to make our stay stress free and totally comfortable in every aspect. Staff were more than willing to assist with any enquiry or request presented to them making it so much easier for English speaking guests only. We would certainly return to this hotel should we make another trip to Athens.

Good value for money. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood, but still very close to sigths etc in central Athens. Would probably stay there again if I return to Athens.
