One of the nicest places we stayed, and definitely the cheapest, in our 2 weeks of travelling. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Would recommend it to others and hope to return!

Pleasant welcome. Make sure you notify hotel of your approximate arrival time. Room little on the smaller size and bathroom very clean and little bigger than most. Breakfast in very nice area. Parking provided in rear of hotel. Across from train station however you will need a car to get to Assisi (too far to walk. Maybe there is public transportation, I do not know, for we had a car) which is very close by car, just a few minutes. This place is a real value, with a good breakfast, parking and A/C in the rooms: can not beat it. Overall very nice stay at Moderno and I would recommend it.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By train : stop at the Assisi train station and, as soon as you get outside, you'll see our Hotel on your left, about 50 meters away.

By car : when you arrive nearby Perugia, you need to lead towards Foligno and Assisi; exit at the Assisi gate, follow directions for the train station, and when you'll be there you can see our Hotel very close to the Station.

By plane : There is an airport about 15 chilometers away, called "Sant'Edigio" airport, entitled to Saint Francis of Assisi. When you've landed, look for a taxi or for a bus to Assisi.
