The rooms in this hotel could use some updating. The carpeting on our balcony was dirty and torn. For a European hotel, the bathroom was one of the best for the money. Bed was OK, better than most in this price range. Website does not disclose that the seaview rooms have lots of road noise. This is a good location away from the tourist mess in Argeles-sur-Mer, and very close to the cute and quaint French village of Coulliure. It also has great access to the highway for your daily road trips. Swimming pool is well maintained and looked appealing - weather was too cold for us while we were there. Overall, for the money, a great place to stay away from all the other tourists!

unfortuneately the restaurant was closed while we stayed at LES MOUETTES o we travelled into COULLIEERE and ate at the COBACABANA breakfast was rgood and plentiful the coffee the best maybe next year we still stay longer as the views are superb the manager gave us advice that we asked for and his instructions were good all in all a good saty had by all

We paid per night 160.-- Euro for 1 Double seaview superior room - the most expensive kind of room available in the hotel. We were very very dissapointed with the poor quality of furniture used for the room and balcony; the very old and stained carpet; the run down room which need urgently some painting; new doors and it's frame and new furniture. In the separate room for the toilet was no rubbish pin or toilet brush as missing basic item. Cleaning was done in a hurry and the only positive item to mention was a newly renovated bath with shower-nice. Otherwise a lot of noise was caused by the railwayline, which is direct in front of the hotel as well as the main road. If you have a superior seaview room, you also view the train and the noise caused from it as well as the road as a free addition, which is not mentioned online. We travelled as a group of two persons a lot in Europe and we got much better accommodation for us for 70 and 80 Euro per night. The breakfast was included in the price per night and was nice. I don't recommend to go back to this hotel for this price until the owner has done some major renovation to the standard expected. At the end of the 6 day stay no question was asked from the owner about our satisfaction - seemingly no interst as the hotel was always fully booked due to its good location to the seaside.

Although our group arrived very late, as the hotel closed at 10pm. After phoning twice to get directions, the girl waited a good hour to greet us and allocate our rooms. I was most impressed by the service she provided. However, the hotel is difficult to locate in the dark and adress not on GPS
