SPENT A WONDERFUL WEEK-END IN ANGERS VISITING MY SON WHO IS ATTENDING UNIVERSITY THERE. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS LITTLE HOTEL WAS PERFECT FROM CHECK-IN RIGHT THROUGH. ROOM WAS SPOTLESS, STAFF SO FRIENDLY. i SUFFER FROM A VERY BAD BACK AND ALWAYS DREAD BEDS IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES BUT NO WORRIES BED WAS MORE THAN COMFORTABLE.
OVERALL, A VERY MEMORABLE STAY IN A LOVELY CITY

I was very impressed with the quality of Hotel De l'Europe, the service and the cleanliness. It is within walking distance of the train station and all the major sights, but is located on a quiet road. Breakfast had everything anyone could possibly want, and at 8 euros, was a steal. My only minor complaint would be that although the website quoted me a price of 55 euros for 2 nights (a special promotion), I was charged 65 upon departure - still outstanding value for the money. Merci bien!

The hotel was exactly what we wanted for a family of 4, central to the town. The hotel reception staff were excellent and offered us good advice on places to see and eat. All in all an excellent hotel and would highly recommend for families.

It was a very nice stay, the hotel is excellently located. Just in the city centre. You could easily move around.
Rooms very a little bit small, but very clean and nice, nothing to complain about.
Breakfast is recommendable, good variety and much better than other hotels we visited, it was worth it.
In the end a very nice hotel, a good advice for friends

I chose this hotel in Angers, as choice was limited on venere.com. After a long drive from Boulogne, My husband along with a 16 month old child were looking forward to a relaxing overnight stay in Angers.
Unfortunately our stay was awful. First impressions last ! When we booked online, Parking availability was mentioned but not in a public carpark at the end of the road. The room we were given was on the third floor - not a problem except for the fact that there was no lift in the hotel. The room itself was stuffy and cramped. If you decide to stay here in the summer, be warned there is no air con and we found it too hot even at Easter. After dragging our luggage from the public carpark up three flights of stairs with daughter in arms we were thoroughly exhausted. The poor service continued at breakfast the next morning when there was no high chair available for our daughter. If you have children I would not recommend this hotel. Its only benefit was the proximity to the centre of Angers.

Location and welcome are very good, but due to the fact that it is near the center and that there is a bar close to the hotel, it is a little noisy sometimes in the night. But we just stayed one night on a saturday.
No lift and many steps. The price was higher than on the reservation (double vs twin), but we had 2 beds as we wanted : no problem. The parking close to the hotel is very useful.
A good adress to visit Angers!

A nice hotel in the middle of town, within walking distance to tourist sites and anything else you might need. Room wasn't huge, but was adequate, larger than a lot we've stayed in, and it was quiet. The girl at reception was great and spoke excellent English (even when I tried to speak French). Parking garage is just across street, we left the car there the entire time as there was no need to drive anywhere.

I've stayed in Hotel De L'Europe before with my wife and children.
This was the first time with friends on a wine run and it was as expected, friendly service at a very reasonable rate with parking at the front door. The Inishmore Irish bar across the road is agreat place to spend a Friday night.

The hotel staff are friendly and the facility in the room is new and clean and the room looks pretty in a compact design. We had an excellent stay here and would recommend this place to other travellers. Internet service are also available. It is by far the best budget hotel we encoutered during our trip. The hotel could consider putting up a map on the internet to assist directions, although there are signposts on the street to guide us there.

Only stayed the one night but found the rooms to be quite nice. Had a good quiet nights sleep and the breakfast in the morning was great. The staff at the counter were very informative and gave some excellent ideas about food and directions in the city. You could add a few more photos of the hotel.

The hotel staff were very helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and of high standard. There were a variety of options for breakfast, cereals, croissants, jams & juices. All very pleasant.

A friendly hotel which is in the process of being refurbished. Few minutes walk from pedestrian area of Angers. A smoking room had been requested but the original room was not. They were flexible enough to meet our request. Provided information about places to eat (even on a Sunday evening) and recommendation lived up to expectations. Central location good in one way, but resulted in outlook from room being a plain rear wall. Pay and display car park (0900-1900) close by and limited on street parking is also pay and display. Charges quite reasonable.
