I made my reservation for the room online and paid $70/night. When I arrived at the hotel to check in I informed them I'd need a rollaway bed for the room and they told me it would be $10/night extra. I knew that. I was fine with that. The manager proceeded to tell me that he would put us in a family suite instead. It had an extra bed, so we wouldn't need the rollaway, and he'd only charge us $20 extra. When he rang up my total I discovered he'd charged us the extra $20 for every night we were staying, which was a total 4. I told him I didn't want to pay more than I'd agreed to and to please put us in the room I reserved with a rollaway. He didn't know how to use their new computer system to do this so he just refunded us the difference in cash and left us in the suite. He resolved the issue just fine, but he should have been honest about the price to begin with.

I did not stay at the Rodeway Inn & Suites but at the Anahiem, Vagabond. Limited parking after midnight. The quality of room air can be improved. Had problem with hair dryer but hotel service responded quickly to replace.

The staffs are very down to earth people, they may not have big smell on their face but they are nice. I think they are short on staff, so if you need service, you have to wait a little longer. The price fits its quality, nice area but the breakfast is not so good.

The low ratings are based on two major issues.
The quality of the room and the nature of the general areas - and actually the quality of the "Breakfast"
Second - the Wifi while strong and connection -once I was told the correct name was OK
The problem - the router did not permit connection to email systems at companies etc. Only to Yahoo etc. No VPN connection and I had to use PC Anywhere to acces my office system to respond to my emails - Not a solution many travellers would have...
