I was not so hapy about the online booking. I refered a colleage to the same hotel and he found a much cheaper rate. I wrote the Lemontree Hotel about it an E-Mail and was expecting a reply. Finally (several days later) I had to call them. I was told, that this cheaper rate was gone. Rates migh t differ I agree, but I expect an answer to my E-Mail. Positive was, I told this when I checked in at the reception. The person there first charged my fully but at the end I got some discount. Anyhow this discount was much less than the cheaper offer.

Staff was awesome. Hotel room walls paper thin. Barely slept the first night because it sounded like I was sitting in the middle of the party in the next room, and on the other side of my room, a family allowed their children to play and laugh in hysterics till 12:30am which made it very difficult for my family to sleep. Because there is no night staff in the lobby, you can't get any front desk help after midnight. Other than that, the location was pretty good. About 8 minutes from DL. Continental breakfast was great. Saved us time and money. Best DL ticket prices around and the only 1 day price hopper tickets you can buy are from the lobby or DL front gates. Just get them early, because they do sell out.

What a charming room, with nice character. Quite a find; great change of pace from the Disneyland park hotel "which-motel-are-we-at" row. Loved the room with hidden patio, by the pond. I'll be definitely staying at Lemontree again!

When I got into the room I killed a roach, that pretty much set the tone for the visit. The sheets were not clean, but spotted, the bedspread was nearly disgusting. I felt like I was risking cleanliness by putting my head on the pillow. I was trying to get a quaint place to stay with my children during our visit to Anaheim, our visit was great, but I do feel that the 4.5 stars the hotel received is quite misleading. The breakfast was nice, the staff were welcoming, but when I looked for another place to stay the next morning with no luck, I had no choice but to continue my stay with them.

My first impression of the Lemon Tree was 'WOW', unfortunately we only stayed for two nights and as we were visiting Disneyland did not get much time to fully appreciate the beauty of the place. The rooms are fabulous, the hotel grounds are breathtaking and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this hotel, but next time I will make it my base and travel out from there. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience in Anaheim and I would recommend a stay at the Lemon Tree.

We received excellent service! The rooms were spacious and clean. Lemontree is a great value, we travel to the area often and have stayed at several local hotels - this was by far the best value. We plan to stay here again on our next trip in March.

I would highly recommend anyone staying in Anaheim to stay at the Lemon Tree. My wonderful experience with the hotel started with Rick Ayala over the phone before we arrived. He called to confirm my reservations through the venere.com. He was so pleasant and even gave me over-the-phone directions from LAX to the hotel and from the hotel to Disneyland. He even recommended a great pancake house to eat breakfast at since we were flying in early in the morning. He followed up our conversation with an email confirmation with all the directions he had given me over the phone (his directions were so accurate we didn't even need a map!).
When we got to the hotel, we were not disappointed. The room was very spacious and even included a microwave and refrigerator (which we did not expect). It is about a three to five minute drive to Disneyland and was definitely a comfortable place to stay after a long day at the Magic Kingdom.
The hotel also offers a continental breakfast and has a pool, fitness room, and laundry room. They do not have a 24-hour front desk so if you are arriving after 10pm or before 7am, you may need to make prior arrangements to check in, which isn't a problem because the staff is extremely willing to meet customers' needs. This two-story hotel does not have elevators so you may want to request a downstairs room if you are traveling with a lot of luggage.
I would highly recommend this family-friendly hotel. The staff, from the reservation specialist to the cleaning staff, is wonderful. The room is excellent, and you can't beat the price and location. We will definitely be staying there the next time my family and I visit Disneyland.
