The family next room started to fight each other around 1:00 a.m. for about an hour. Room was very clean, but the price was very high compared to other major cities good hotels, taking account of the size of the room.

Good location. 8 mins from nearest tram line. 10mins from daily market and nearby shops and restaurants. A bit of noise from traffic and tram but pretty quiet at night. Staff are friendly and competent. Made an extra effort to make sure our taxi was on time for an early flight out of Amsterdam. Also made breakfast earlier (7.00am) for the 4 of us when breakfast actually starts at 7.30am. Rooms are small but clean and the elevator was handy with heavy luggage. If you are a light sleeper, get the top floor as the floor are all wooden floor boards.

It was very conveniently located, the staff very nice and the price very reasonable. Our only comment would be that the shuttle service to and from the airport, which is provided, is not free. The listing seemed to indicate that to us; it would be helpful to note that there is a fee.

Easy access by tram to the hotel. Located in a quiet neighborhood. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. It was walking distance to the flower market, too. The non-smoking room was truely smokefree. Our room had twin beds positioned together and another closet bed that our adult daughter used when she joined us. The beds were comfortable. Plumbing all worked. And they provided washcloths which is unusual in Europe. Good breakfast. I had gingerbread every day. Choice of elevator or stairs. A good value for the money. We recommend this hotel.

Très bon accueil, le quartier est calme et sympathique, pas loin du centre, très bon petit-déjeuner. Nous avions une chambre lumineuse au 3ème étage, côté rue mais pas spécialement bruyante. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.

Hotels in Amsterdam are expensive (in comparison with Prague or Munich where I stayed before Amsterdam). This hotel is not exception. The breakfast was poor: soft-boiled egg, 2 slices of meat, 1 slice of cheese, butter, jam, cream, 6 slices of different sorts of bread :), a teapot on ~3 cups of coffee or tea with milk. The safe costs additional 5 euros (plus 25 euros for the deposit). Moreover, the safe is very small, you can put in it passports, money or tickets only. The personnel is friendly. The receptionist carefully searched in Internet from which station my train should depart (Zuid or Centraal). I answered 'Yes' a question 'Would you return to this property?', but my answer is rather 'I don't know'.

The hotel is very close to city centrum (connection by tram with Rembrandtplein);it's clean, the room was not very large and the price was quite good. The price wuold be very good if breakfast was richer (there were not fruits, vegetables, yogurt, cereals). Anyway this hotel is recommended to everybody.

There are different kind of rooms. We were four, we payed the same price, but two of us have had a worse room than the others. Breakfast was poor(no yogurt, no cakes), it's impossible to have anymore of something and they don't know what is milk and coffee: They usually give to you some cold milk for the coffee or tea. Nevertheless the staff is competent enough and very kind and the location is pretty good.

Everyone was helpful at the hotel in regards of tourist stuff to do and directions but the guy at the desk at night - Ali - he is not nice at all - everyone had a complaint about him!!!! Just email the hotel direct after your stay and let them know about him. Everything else was superb!!!! Typical smaller room - I was a single and it was very European but bathroom water pressure was great!!!!! Would stay there again!

It was my first time to stay in this hotel and I have to say its one of the best 3 star hotels, where I have stayed since so far in Amsterdam.Because of my work, I travel to Amsterdam a lot and I think next time I will stay in same hotel, because its very close to city centrum, its very clean hotel, the room was quit big and the price for that was also good.I would defenetly recommend this hotel to everybody.P.S.In reception was working very nice, handsome and helpful boy.

Pleasant and friendly staff. The hotel was clean and proper and calm surrounding. Not so many restaurants in the area but it is easy to reach the city center by street tram. Small room but OK. The breakfast could have included yoghurt and cereal and perhaps some vegetables and fruit.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We had stayed at alot of 3 star hotels in Europe so our expectations were fairly low. This hotel exceeded all expectations! Whilst the family/quad room was a bit of a squeeze, the room was clean & the beds were comfortable. Our daughter was sick while we were there & the staff were fantastic in assisting us. The staff were also very helpful with advice on where to go in Amsterdam.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Reasonable priced hotel for it's location. Very close to public transport (trams, 1-2 min walking distance). Max 15 min walk to the Dam square. Quiet neighbourhood. Would recommend for groups or young couples.

The hotel is located in close proximity to the center of the city so it is very easy to get from it to everywhere. However the room was too small for four people. We were two adults and two children age 11 and 14. It was very crowded and very uncmfortable when we were all in the room at the same time. Breakfast was nice and reasonable. The price seem to be too high relative to the quality of the room.

Enjoyed my stay. Within walking distant of most attractions. Reception staff were very helpful in answering our questions. Glad there was a lift as the spiral staircase can be difficult to manage.

There are hotels closer to the train station, but this one is a nice walk or take tram #16. The staff is very friendly. The room was quite comfortable, and breakfast very nice. We would return.

We were delighted with the hotel. It has an excellent location close to both the Rijksmuseum/Concertgebouw area and to the city center, but off of the main streets and on a quiet road. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was immaculately clean and our room was very comfortable as well as quiet. Breakfast was generous and of high quality. The staff went out of their way to be good to us (for example, we overslept on our first morning, and they cheerfully provided a full breakfast--huge basket of breads, meat and cheese, juice and coffee, etc.--even though we were rather late. The staff was also incredibly kind regarding providing directions to sites, arranging our return to the airport, and other services.) Relatives of ours were in Amsterdam at the same time, staying at a much pricier hotel and their room was less spacious, with NO breakfasts provided! The only (minor) criticism that we could make regarding the accommodations is that our bathroom was extremely small. It was functional rather than luxurious. However, we highly recommend the hotel, and will stay there again when we return to Amsterdam.

Basically the Hotel is advertised as a 3 star hotel and I would rate it as a 2 star hotel. The heating syastem was inadequate. The corridors were not clean and in need of refurbishment. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
