we found this property to be of good value. The location and view of the sea was fabulous. Breakfast very ordinary. Dinner service at night excallent. Ambience of the area was relaxing. Defintely would stay with these folks again.Only negative is locating this property. Appears many of us from out of the country could not locate it, without seeking directions from the locals. Frustrating!

We were made more than welcome and throroughly enjoyed our stay. Although 3km outside the town, this did not prove a problem as a shuttle service was available in demand. Superb views from the room and the public areas. Shuttle to and from Naples airport worked very well and good value at €120 each way.

We spent two lovely nights at Felice Relais. Staff was very friendly, only to breakfast we had to help ourselves (except for the caffe latte, which was made for us and the cornetti caldi). When booking the room I asked for a room with a view which we also got. +! Parking is right next door (and free!), to go to Amalfi you have to go by car though, as it's too far to walk. Also the centre of the small community Lone is too far to walk (at least at night the road is too dangerous as well). In the morning the rooms with a view of the sea (bellissimo!! I recommend to ask for one of those) can get a bit noisy, as the street is right in front of the house. In spring and summer it must be wonderful to have breakfast on the terrace (unfortunately it was a bit too cold when we stayed there).

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From the North: take the motorway A3 direction south from Rome to Naples. Once passed Naples, stay on the motorway A3 direction Salerno for 38 km. Exit at Vietri sul Mare. Follow the signs to Amalfi, passing Cetara, Erchie, Maiori and Minori. After you have reached Amalfi, proceed to Pogerola. Villa Felice is just a few metres from the sign indicating the village Lone.
From the South: from the motorway A3, exit at Salerno Centro, turn left, follow the signs for Costiera Amalfitana and Vietri sul Mare. Once you have reached Vietri sul Mare proceed towards Amalfi, passing Cetara, Erchie, Maiori and Minori. After you have reached Amalfi, proceed to Pogerola. Villa Felice is just a few metres from the sign indicating the village Lone.

By train
The hotel is 20 km from the Salerno railway station.

By airplane
The Naples Capodichino airport is the closest airport to Amalfi.

By ferryboat or hydrofoil
Daily connections by ferry or hydrofoil from May to October. Amalfi harbour provides access to Positano, Capri, Naples, Salerno, Sorrento and Ischia.
