The location and views from hotel were superb, but the staff at reception were SO rude and patronising towards us.Particularly on checkout when we were paying. We spoke to other residents and they had the exact same complaints about them! They had no idea about customer care.

Had a wonderful tim e- even the guests were friendly. Only downfall was that lift to pool/swimming area was frequently not working (and there were a lot of stairs to climb when it wasn't!)

Hotel was very well placed and the smimming facilities were excellent. We ate in the restaurant once in the evening and were disappointed with the food and the service. The food lacked finesse and the service seemed to want to get us through our meal and out as quickly as possible. The water for tea at breakfast was never hot enough and the juices were over sweetened and tasted of chemicals. Our room was directly beneath the dining room so very noisey in early in the morning. It would have been helpful to know that we needed to pay cash for transfers. Apart from this everthing was good. The price of drinks was quite reasonable and the mini bar well stocked.

We stayed in a supieror double which was fine but the position was not the best. It was just above a staff working area with a bambo roof, every time we opend the windows onto the balcony we were atacked by gnats. The hotel and staff are wonderful you could not get a better position. Breakfast is an absolute joy if you have a table out side we had a wonder full time. We would recomend that some time is spent at Revelo but not when it is hot. We had a price for the same type of room at Hotel Excelsior less 10% discount but we were very please we sayed at the Miramalfi

The photos do not do it justice. Great location, walking distance to town and the views spectacular. Hotel staff went out of the way to make the visit pleasant and enjoyable. We will definetely return.

Wonderful view of Amalfi!! Great place to stay and would return in the future. The restaurant was good and the breakfast layout was one of the more extensive I have seen in the Italian hotels.

Great views of a wonderful town. We had a great time. We loved Amalfi. Getting into and out of the parking lot was a bit of a challenge. We'd stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel in a superb position. The views from Rooms and Dining Room are breathtaking. My only criticism is that it a little further out of the town than I had thought - and uphill on a very narrow road! - not recommended after a few wines!!!! - and the local taxis rip you off! It is rather expensive - but worth the experience.

The hotel was a great place to stay. The only thing we didn't enjoy was our meal at the restaurant in the hotel. The staff were stuffy, sort of unfriendly and we were limited to what we could order for dinner. It was like eating at an upscale bowling banquet. If you stay at this hotel, don't have dinner there unless you like to be treated as a number

I love Miramalfi I had stayed before- 3 years ago & returned this time recommending it to 18 additional family members We had a wonderful time & actually had the hotel prepare a pizza party for all of us for my daughter's birthday!- Enjoyed by all 22 of us! I will return in the future I had one problem which I actually just realized: -It concerned my booking rate- - the Junior Suite was as quoted at 255.00EUR - however the set-up for my 2 children in the second room was actually double what was quoted on the Venere customer service confirmation -The confirmation read "Supplemento mezza pensione E 30.00 per persona, soggiorno minimo 3 notti" - I was actually charged E 60.00 per child per day!!!!- This X 4 days (I had 2 separated bookings) actually ended up costing me E 240.00 more than expected! - Quite a disappointment. Like I say- I will keep returning- It's just beautiful- one of my favorite places in the world- I will just have to check my statement before agreeing to it. If there is anything that can be done in post I would greatly appreciate it Thank you, Joe Famiglietti

This hotel has an incredible view on Amalfi, the room was just fine and clean with a private balcony. The pool can be reach by an elevator and there is also an access to swim into the ocean. The personal was friendly and the breakfast delicious. Strongly recommended!

This hotel has great location on cliffside and spectacular view of Amalfi. Large room and nice buffet breakfast. Extra charge for parking. We planned on arriving after dinner and Rome concierge called in the morning to tell them this. However, they could not find a record of our reservation! Fortunately, by the time we arrived reservation was found and all went well.

The good: We had reserved a double room, which the hotel upgraded to a junior suite. The suite was large: bedroom, bathroom, sitting room, balcony. Furnishings were okay. Amazing view from the balcony of the city of Amalfi and the ocean. The restaurant served excellent food. Waitstaff and employees were friendly and curteous. (The maid service even noticed that I was sleeping with pillows from the couch--I like extra pillows--and provided me with more). We were within close walking distance of Amalfi. The pool has an amazing location, on the cliff overlooking the ocean--gorgeous. Parking was easy and convenient, which is terrific for Amalfi. The downsides: The hotel was a little funky in that parts of it were run down. The jacuzzi tub was broken in our room and there was no shower curtain or other enclosure for the tub/bath. Overall: It was slightly pricy, especially coming from the South of Italy, but I think that it was a good value for the service, the amazing views, and the spaciousness of the room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A comfortable hotel in an excellent position for access to Amalfi and the views. The staff were caring and helpful.Being at the end of the season there was difficulty in booking trips but the staff persevered and we didn't miss anything. An excellent centre for the area.

The best features of this hotel are one, that they have easily accessible parking, which after driving the Amalfi coast for a few hours was a huge relief to me, two, that the town center is within a reasonable walking distance, and three, that there are spectacular views from the rooms. We were there in March, so using the pool facilities wasn't an option for us, so I cannot comment on that, except to say that the pool seemed smallish but spectacularly situated on the cliffside. We may have been the only guests in the hotel at the time. They were doing a lot of work on the building while we were there, but this did not inconvenience us, or trouble us with noise. The staff seemed to be going out of their way to make us feel welcome (as though they had recently come under new management). The breakfast offered had variety, but was nothing special if you care about that. The dining and reception areas were a bit shabby, but maybe they are renovating those as well. My room and bathroom were very nice, clean, great private balcony from which I had a beautiful view of the town. I slept with the sliding door open and listined to the surf all night. I don't know what the hotel would be like during the high season, but I would have happily spent more time here if I could have rearranged by schedule. Finally, they do charge 13E a day for parking, but I didn't find this charge excessive given the convenience in an inconvenient-to-drivers town. I was happy to be able to leave my car and spend my time seeing the town on foot.

We occupied room 15, which was OK except for the bathroom which was old and needs redecoration. The same goes for the dining room which is very oldfashioned and the chairs are worn out. The website we booked from (Venere) only mentioned " the hotel has its own private car park" . It surprised us that we had to pay additional 13 Euro per day for the car park, on top of the high room price! However, our overall stay we rate as good, because of the location, view and friendliness of staff.

We had a great stay in the Miramalfi. The rooms are emmaculately clean, and the views of Amalfi are fantastic. The staff is accomodating, and moderately friendly (with the exception of the spectacular bartender who made the stay great!!!!!!) The pool and lounging areas are very nice, equipped with beach chairs and a pool house. One piece of advice: get there early as the chairs fill up very quickly!!!! Also, there is very little sunbathing after 3:00, as the sun retreats behind the cliff. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to downtown Amalfi, and is very centrally located. I had the trip of a lifetime in Amalfi! What an unforgettable place!!!!!!!

A nice property, within easy walking distance of downtown Amalfi--but a lot of stairs! Nice pool and access to the Mediteranean. Good food, but limited menu each nite. Very accurate presentation on the web as to what it was actually like. We enjoyed it.

Excellent location, superb pool area, friendly employees but proprietors seemed distant, when settling account, owners did not say thank you or goodbye, we had stayed in Santa Caterina(5 star) next door last year where staff were outstanding, overall though we would return to this hotel. We did not use the evening dining facilities so we cannot comment on the standards.
