We liked the area, the town of Aix les bains & enjoyed a day in Annecy very much. The hotel is nice, the rooms spacious, however it is not on the lake, the banks of the lake or side of the lake as indicated in the site. It is a drive down to the lake. Any rooms along the left side - near a town square - is extremely noisy at night. Motorscooters buzz around there from 10pm-1 or 2 am & there is a lot of loud talking. We could not sleep.

Room was the most spacious we found on our trip. It was quiet and the hotel convenient to parks, shopping, tourist office and casino. However, it was difficult to find (due to lack of street signs in Aix-les Bains) and a barrier without signage prohibited access.

This is a lovely old hotel in a central location (hence the noise level). Good size room for France. Staff do not speak a lot of English so be prepared. Excellent restaurant offering 4 course set menu for dinner @ 19 euros. Secure car park within 30 metres for 4.80 euros per day. Would happily stay here again if in the area.

Nice hotel in the centre of the town. Parking place in undergroud parking-station was helpfull. Personel was very helpfull. We have enjoyed our 10 days stay.
