It was built in 1968, in front of the sea, with materials and techniques that are typical of the old farmhouses around Etna, in a typical Mediterranean style. Ownership and management are both characteristically local. The Aloha hotel faces the sea of Mt Etna and the magnificent Ulysses Riviera. The Regional Spa is within walking distance, as well as the beautiful city centre of the baroque city Acireale.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
Motorway A18, exit at Acireale, drive along Via C. Colombo until it ends, then take a right turn towards Catania, on the SS114; drive for a few kilometers, then find the Aloha D'Oro at your left hand side.

By train
By Trenitalia, Acireale train station; outside the train station, use a taxi to reach the Aloha, or a local bus to lower Via V. Emanuele, then walk to Via S. Caterina and follow the signs to Aloha Hotel.

By airplane
By the major airlines, Catania International Airport (CTA). Use a taxi to reach Aloha or, in alternative, take a shuttle bus to Catania train station/Bus terminal and, from there, take a local train to Acireale or a local bus to Acireale.

By public transportation
By local transportation, take a bus to Acireale, step off at lower Via V. Emanuele in Acireale, then walk to Via S. Caterina and follow the signs to Aloha Hotel.

The Aloha Hotel has an internal fenced parking, unguarded, served by intercom and electric gate: one must buzz by the gate to access/exit the hotel by car. Local busses stop at lower Via V. Emanuele, at approximately 120 meters from the Hotel.
