The Clifden guest house is a 180-year-old Georgian home with 15 ensuite rooms - no elevator - ideally located in Dublin city centre.

Place is good for price. Clean, has a bath. Lots of stairs as we were on the top floor. Our shower didn't work. however the bath did. We didn't push the issue as we were only staying 2 nights and we couldn't be bothered changing rooms. Would reccomend for the price. 5 min walk to centre/ information

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
From Dublin airport
By car: follow the indications to the city centre for approximately 7 km and pass under the railway bridge. After around 500 metres cross the rail and canal bridges and turn left at the third traffic lights into Gardiner Street (at the Auld Triangle Pub). At the next traffic lights turn right into Gardiner Place. The property is at end of the block on the left (if necessary, just double park at street number 32 and ring the bell for directions to the car park).
By bus: take bus number 16 or 41 to Parnell Square (exact change required for bus). Walk up to the corner and turn right into Gardiner Row leading to Great Denmark Street. Continue straight ahead until you reach Gardiner Place. The guest house is at number 32, on the right, three doors after the traffic lights.

The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
