yes the overall cleanliness and tidyness of inside and outside the building.

Standard price is too high compared with the quality of accommodation, Venere's price is just fine. Location-wise, it's not so far from the city centre, if you're a good walker.

We were in room nr 10, this is a very small room, and you can hear any noise at the reception! so also the telephone early in the morning, or the bell at the front door in the middle of the night... That was the only negative, the rest was very good!!

This guest house is a little out of the center of the city, but within fairly easy walking distance or a short bus ride of the center. Since we had fairly good weather for our stay, we never needed to take the bus. If you appreciate a quiet night's sleep, the location in a residential neighborhood is a definite plus. The breakfasts are extraordinary -- enough food for the entire day, really, although if you don't feel like that much you can just order eggs or cereal.

It was all good. Sometimes the upper floor is noisy probably because it's wood. The staff was very very nice and available with us.

The Charleville Lodge is overall really nice, although it is quite far from the center of Dublin (over 30mn by walking). The rooms are really nice and the surroundings are quiet. It has been nice to stay there.

This is a gem of a hotel just outside of Dublin. It's only a little more expensive than a hostel and probably 10 times as nice. Honestly, you can't beat this place! The receptionists are the nicest people on the continent and possibly the most helpful. And with free internet access, 24-hour tea, and free breakfast, where else would you stay when visiting Dublin?
