Your front desk staff was excellent. I think the best we encountered on our whole trip (and any other I can think of). Services provided were also great. Hotel was well maintained. Breakfast was great, good selection, again excellent staff.

I stayed in a single room in the Hotel Condor in Dec 2007. The rooms were perhaps a little shabby, but completely clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay at the Condor. My only concern was the fact that the hotel is down a bit of an alley, which made me a bit nervous when returning late at night. Despite that, I would definitely stay at the Condor again.

After to register and to give us a room in the 4ª plant, they inform us that the elevator doesn't work. They assign us a room of smokers, without informing us. After discussing so that they changed us room, they give us another in 5ª plant with a shower for midgets, in the attic. The stay in the hotel was very bad. The only thing good of the stay it has been the breakfast, although simple.

Friendly staff. Clean room and good sized bed. Tacky decor but that didn't matter. Convenient if slightly seedy location between the train station and Karlsplatz. Suited my purposes and reasonable value.

Condor is just a few steps away from the walking area in Munich and equidistant to the main train station. The staff a nice and the price is right. I probably would have ranked it higher if I wasn't given a smoking room.

the ladies running it were very kind, pleasant, prompt and helpful in any situation, we were 11 with 6 kids below age of 6, a sort of moving storm, but after the initial comprehensible surprise they have coped with us making us feeling at home.

Breakfast is very good. Location is also good. Central station and city center are all within walking distance. However the room is too small for the couple. It is also a bit noizy because the wall might be too thin. We can hear everything what they talk about in the next room.

we arrived too early to be checked in (7AM) so the hotel was nice enough to let us hang out in their common area until a room opened up, serving us coffee and tea. Less than two hours later we were informed a room had been cleaned for us, which we were very pleased at their efficiency. When we awoke from a nap, we found two bottles of Gerolsteiner and two small Ritter chocolates at the door- a plesant surprise. The hotel receptionist was very kind and informative- it began raining, and in most European hotels, they have umbrellas they lend out to their patrons. They ran out of them when we asked for one so she lent us her personal umbrealla which was above and beyond what was necessary, but was extremely generous of her. We also asked her where we could find a good place for breakfast as we had missed out on their buffet and she gave us many good leads. Overall this hotel was great, but the service made it exceptional. The only gripes I have is that there was construction going on outside a few doors down, and we would be awoken to the sounds of windows and doors being thrown to a trash tuck on the ground floor, hammering and sawing from about 7AM onwards. Not their fault, I know, but it affected my stay. The other thing is that their pillows are SO soft and shapeless, they deflate into nothingness, so you may want to request more of them, or if you are saavy enough, bring your own!

The location can't be beat. It’s just a couple of minutes to the trains, tour busses and Marienplatz. The room was small, but tidy and with everything you need. The staff was always cheerful and helpful and I was always met with a smile at the front desk.

The hotel is in a convenient location: just two blocks from the Hauptbahnhof, on a quiet side-street. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was pleasant. Our room faced an interior courtyard and was very quiet. The room was small, but I suppose that this would be true of any other centrally-located hotel in this price class. A couple blocks west on another side-street is an excellent Thai restaurant.

Breakfast buffet was excellent, although the hot chocolate was quite weak. Good location near the train station. Very cheap internet access (although no printing).

Saluti

I took five beer drinking monsters from work to Octoberfest, and stayed here due to the reviews and the fact that everywhere else was too expensive. The staff really make this place, there is nothing you can ask for (within reason) that they won't help you with. Breakfast kept on coming, and was more than adequate with cold cut meats, cheese, bread, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, etc. The location was perfect, 2 minutes from the station, and a short pleasant stroll to the centre through a pedestrian shopping area. The rooms are small, but to sleep and shower its perfect and very well priced. The decor is a touch on the 'jolly' side with a profusion of pink and greens, which makes the place feel a little camp, please don't view this as a criticism, having met the owner she is very femenine and gives the impression of being a cinderella in her own little palace. She is very proud of the place, and rightly so.

My room had a bath with a bathtub, which is quite unusual in a three star hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and the proximity to the very nice train station, as well as the Marienplatz, was excellent. I would definitely use this hotel again in visiting Munich.

My stay was nice is it weren't from the noise coming from both some other guests and from outside. In the same floor I was in there were some very noisy guests that woke me up several times in the middle of the night. Everything else was nice, especially the breakfast buffet.

We are a family of 10 who stayed at the Condor for 2 nights in June, 05. We found the hotel staff to be extremely helpful directing to the sites we wanted to see in Munich. The Condor is very close to the train station and was easy to find as we were walking with bags. The breakfast was excellent, the best we had on our trip. We had to stay in Munich another night due to a train strike and the Condor staff went out of their way to help us find another hotel and arranged cabs to take us. The air conditioning was also excellent as Munich was having a heat wave. We would definately go back to the Condor for another Munich stay and would recommend it to all. The customer service was beyond excellent! Thank you Condor staff!

Right by the central train station where you can get a 40 minute bus to the airport. Very quiet with a nice breakfast. Not the most luxurious but fine by me. Vicino vicino alla stazione centrale dove si puo prendere il bus per il aeroporto (ci vuolono quaranta minuti per andare al aeroporto). Non che rumori e che una buona colazione. Non e molto elegante ma e andato bene per me.

I was very pleased with my stay at hotel "Condor". The staff was nice and the room was clean and quite. Prices quoted were exactly what I paid. Easy walking to all sights in town center. If I ever make it back to Munich, I would definately stay again at the Condor. Very pleased.

Having stayed in a number of similar city centre hotels close to the station this was by far the best we have stayed in. Location is excellent being between station and Karls platz and in a quiet side street with little traffic. We did however request a non smoking room in the courtyard side as suggested in another review but often the back yards in other hotels are also sometimes noisy. Rooms not large and no smaller than other hotels but adequate but could have done with more drawer space. Clean, good bathroom and reasonable breakfast. Graet value

This was a very, very clean hotel and in a great location. The rooms were small but for us this wasn't an issue - we were only there to sleep. We would defintely stay at the Condor again.
