Stayed at hotel for three nights for quick weekend trip to Bordeaux - hotel perfect for those looking for a clean and cheap place to stay. The hotel is literally a few metres from Tauzia tram stop that runs into town - we just bought a three day unlimited tram pass for €9 each - it was brilliant as tram runs directly into town and to Quay area of Chartrons. Hotel itself - rooms are compact and basic but clean - great for short stay - you get what you pay for. Hotel about 5 min walk from Saint Jean train station where airport bus stops. We had a room at the back and was very quiet - and even if you stayed at the front the trams do not make much noise. Overall - good place to stay if want to save the pennies!

A perfect place to stay for a lads weekend on the beer and watching rugby. Not a pretty hotel by any means, but functional and sufficiant accommodation. The hotel room was the smallest room I have aver been in with two cots for beds and a wash room unit in the room. The tram stops right outside which is perfect for the 10min commute into the city centre. If you miss the last tram home you can walk from the centre in an easy 30min.

We were welcomed cordially, which put us in a very good mood. So we did not even mind the minuscule bathroom and the little space in the room. Problems started at night, when we had to open the window because it was too hot and the air conditioner did not work. The trams screeching, cars pulling to a halt, people talking and singing in the street kept us awake till small hours. A varied breakfast (not just the usual set of jellies and baguettes, but also meet, cheeses, eggs, toasts, different sorts of bread) made it up in part, but on the whole we were glad to move on.

O hotel fica distante do centro e o banheiro mais parece o banheiro de um avião, pequeno e sem ventilação. Numa outra oportunidade procuraria um outro hotel.

Staff was good, friendly and accommodating. Location of Hotel is excellent in relation to train station. Rooms are small and only 1 electric outlet. Bed linen were clean, WALLS AND CARPET WERE FILTHY. We were booked for 2 nights but stayed 1 night and checked out early due to condition of room. I would not stay here again.

The hotel rooms are not as advertised on the website. The reception areas are as displayed but the double bedroom we had had the following problems: Hole in bathroom door which looked like someone had smashed their fist into it; bedhead was missing, looked like it had been pulled off, curtains to short for the window, general appearance unpleasant. There was no air conditioning, the corridors and bedrooms were stifling. Although it was early July it was not hot outside and we were forced to open the window. Unfortunately the hotel is in a bad area near the train station, and there was fighting, screaming and shouting all night. The Bordeaux tram also runs outside the hotel until very late. We were unable to sleep and having to catch a train very early the next day we did not feel refreshed! The hotel would be fine for a cheap overnight stay before catching a train BUT only if they install air conditioning as the area is very unpleasant at night. We cancelled our reservation for our return to Bordeaux. I recommend staying in the centre of town, it leaves you with a much better impression of Bordeaux.
