The staff at this property only speak Italian or German, which was ok for me as I speak a little German but proved quite awkward for some other european visitors. There is not info provided in the rooms in different languages to aid your stay at the property. Our room was very small, with no air conditioning (quoted as being in rooms on their web site although not mentioned on Venere). The rooms were finished badly with holes in the wall, our toilet seat was broken badly at the hinge and we were provided with a towel that I would not wash my dog with! The bed was also lop sided so we ended up rolling on to one side of the bed all night, the shutter doors were broken etc. My German was not good enough to complain and they were very busy with a big party in their restaurant! So as we only stayed one night I did not bother. There is now a swimming pool although the surrounds of it are still being built. It will be very beautiful when finished. Our evening meal was fantastic and included some home grown wine which was delicious. The breakfast, however, was a roll two types of jam, dry cake, biscuit and under ripe plums (where they found under ripe plums in July is beyond me!). This meal did definitely not live up to the hype on the web site. This hotel is worth staying at for the views and evening meal just do not believe it is the perfect place portrayed and you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful renovated farmhouse, located in the heart of the island. We had a small room with shaky bed. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Personel did every efford to serve the guests wishes, e.g. Cappucchini at unusual time, arrange horse riding tour etc.

Location is quiet and nice but unfortunately we have a number of negative remarks to make.
Very noisy kids (patrons' children) used to scream and ride their bikes back and forth in the restaurant with no respect for guests, making dining very uncomfortable.
Quality and variety of food was questionable. Breakfast was really limited: in the country of oranges no fruit juice was available!
No attention to accessories and particulars is given: e.g. in our room there was no handle to open the cupboard (we had to use our nails!).

Lovely agriturismo. Extremely welcoming. Very close to Villa di Casale which is a not to be missed archeological site. Some rooms smaller than others. We were not happy with the original room shown to us but the host was able to accomodate us with a more spacious room.
Although described as having a swimming pool, construction of the pool is not yet completed.
Would definately recommend.

We had the misfortune to arrive in a rainstorm after a long drive. We had booked two rooms and one, with a window facing the rain, was flooded. We called for housekeeping and eventually someone came to mop up the rainwater and push another throw rug up against the window but, not surprisingly, this did not prevent another flood from occurring. Eventually, we were moved to another room that was thankfully dry. We could see that another couple, however, next door, were still suffering in a flooded room. Window construction that allows such water intrusion is obviously defective. The property is located in the middle of nowhere (not near the town)and the views from one room were of discarded junk. We took half board, but the dinner was mediocre (only unsweet fruit for dessert). For the price, we expected better.

Lovely building, beautifully restored. But elements of service were poor, eg only stale bread for breakfast, barking dogs and noisy machine rooms outside the window, Visa (credit card) machine was "broken" so we had to pay in cash. More expensive and less satisfactory than most other places we stayed in Sicily.

If this place is only in the start-up phase (which I believe it was) then it will be a top-accommodation in Sicily! I'm afraid they won't be able to keep the prices this low, but what a marvelous stay it was! The restaurant can attract some large groups of (local) guests, but that just makes the atmosphere more special. You will certainly not be neglected despite a large (dinner)crowd. I recall the website mentioned a pool, which could be the little garden waters instead of a swimming pool that I was expecting. A very certain recommodation to anyone who wants to stay in Central Sicily!!!!

This place is still under construction. Several of the ameneties are not yet available, which was disappointing. The pool and children's play area are supposed to be completed by next year. The owners are doing a nice job in their renovation project.
