Located among the Mediterranean oasis of Babin Kuk, a peninsula 5 km far from Dubrovnik's city center and Stradun historical monuments, the hotel Argosy, which takes its name from a 16th century merchant ship, is the ideal choice for a vacation in this region.
Here you will have the possibility to relax at the seaside or to practice several kind of sports such as tennis, gym, table tennis, miniature golf, watersports, football and basketball.
The hotel offers also meeting facilities and a daily entertainment program for children and adults (from April to September).

We liked the location of this hotel. We stayed in another more expensive property for two nights just within walking distance of the Old Town of Dobrovnik and then two nights here. It was nice to see and explore both areas. The buffet dinners and breakfasts at this hotel were wonderful. I didn't swim but the pool looked inviting. The surroundings were lovely and views beautiful. It was far from any points of interest however. The bus stop was nearby but it took a good 30 minutes to get to Old Town Dobrovnik from here.

I travelled with my sister and we stayed for three nights. This hotel was very clean and quiet, although we were amongst the youngest guests (we are 18-24 yrs old). The beach is a short walk down the hill, buses go regularly into Dubriovnik, or you can walk! Hotel entertainment was not amazing, but the rooms were clean and spacious, all of the staff were friendly, polite and helpful and the breakfast buffet was huge! We enjoyed ourselves very much here.

Interesting price management - first day almost double price of the following days - same room. When we wanted to stay a day longer they would have charged double price again. regular double room with no extras for EURO 198,- is the absolute peak for a hotel this class.

By car
Coming from western Europe, via Rijeka (Croatia): take the highway and the continental road in direction Rijeka-Senj-Zuta Lokva-Goapić-Dugopolje (highway), Vrgorac-Ploče-Dubrovnik (continental road).
Alternatively, take the Adriatic road and highway in direction Rijeka-Senj-Karlobag-Maslenica-Split (highway), Makarska-Ploče-Dubrovnik (Adriatic road).
By airplane
From the Dubrovnik-Cilipi airport take the coach to Dubrovnik and then a local bus to the hotel.
