An excellent place to stay, right in the heart of Sorrento. My only negative comment concerns the parking; it couldn't be more convenient, but at 20 euro a day is more than the "about 10 euro" indicated in the online description.

We visited Sorrento with my parents and we LOVED our stay at the Magnolia. Carlo was extremely helpful and made wonderful recommnedations of places to see and places to eat. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The location on the piazza tasso was perfect and extremely convenient to the bus/ train station and shopping. When we return to Sorrento, we are definately staying at the Magnolia again.

Our first stop on a 16 day trip around Italy this was a perfect end to a very long and tiring day of travel. The room was spotless, very nicely decorated with inlaid wood furniture and doors. Though useless for us, we had an LCD TV, large tiled bathroom and tall shuttered windows overlooking one of the mains streets just a block of the central town square. The customer service was good,helpful and I have no complaints. IT was odd however at the end of our stay to be presented with the possibility that because we had breakfast served to us we may have to pay more. From booking on Venere.com I do not recall there being any option to have or not have breakfast and as it is a B and B I understood the price to include the breakfast of biscuits and packaged croissants that seem to the norm around Italy. THis would be a good thing to clarify. Otherwise this was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and convenient. Thank you.

Great location, one block off of Piazzo Tasso. Within easy walking distance to excellent restaurants, tons of shopping, local cafes, and bus terminal, yet removed from the noise of Corso Italiano. The room was a good size, was tastefully decorated, and had a large, spotlessly clean bathroom. The breakfast was mundane, but there was a fresh fruit stand nearby and pastry shops at every block. Also, there is no communal eating area provided and if you don't have a room with direct outdoor access, you must eat in your room. On my arrival, there was some confusion about availability of the accommodations I had requested, but we managed to work this out. I would definately stay at La Magnolia again, but would be very firm in requesting a room with a courtyard or balcony.

A fantastic find. The rooms are comfy and very tastefully furnished, the bathroom looked brand new and was upmarket, the staff were helpful and the location spot on. I'd recommend this anytime.

Our host could not be more accomodating. There is also a lovely garden with lemon and orange trees, and a patio attached to the room with french doors.

We had 4 euro upon arriving at La Magnolia having been robbed (twice - but that's another story). Carlo, who owns/manages the B&B was our guardian angel through five days of trying to get money/credit cards. He even lent us 30 euro for dinner our first night. La Magnolia is a very pleasant B&B in an excellent location. Will stay there again.
