A private house, currently surrounded by scaffolding, three f;ights of stairs to first floor, 3 keys needed to access house/room. Some dodgy plumbing. No window that opens, so if you want fresh air you have to leave the door open. Breakfast, good on on first day, progressively more spartan. We were asked to pay cash as the owner"had changed his bank account". The location near to fountain/seafront and 150 metres from the Duomo square was excellent, but the powner has a lot of work to do to make his accommodation and services up to standard
