In total 1 double and 2 single beds in the room. Very spacious accomodation for 2 people but imagine it could get a bit cramped for a whole family. Price very good for high quality of residence and a fantastic location close to St Peters and only 200m from the underground station. Good air conditioning which was needed in 37 degree heat. Much better value than some of the more centrally located apartments and the underground provides quick links to most of the sites. Only problem was the noise - in Rome rubbish seems to be picked up between 11pm and 2am every night!! Not exactly the fault of the Vatican Suites however which overall was a very pleasant place to stay.

Having a kitchen is great for budget travelers. The contact person was efficient and professional, but his mother who met us was brusque, rather than welcoming. A better map would have saved being called by the contact and his mother repeatedly when we were a few minutes late. The 25% deposit at reservation + cash on arrival policy is annoying, but clearly stated. The 9:30am check-out was not stated before arrival and would have affected my choice. Having pillow cases for all the pillows would have been nice. But the place was clean and convenient. I would look further for similar accommodations, but finding none, would take it again.

We stay just on holidays, the play was clining, near to San Pietro Vatican, confortable. Just the breakfast is better to have breakfast to another plays o just no incluyed in the price, because for mediterranean people we need to eat somethings strongs to start the days.

There was a machine to boil water, tea bags and cups, but nothing more for the breakfast. There was a little fridge. The area is quiet, although you can hear motorbikes in the street. The lady was here on our arrival, but we didn't see her again. I would recommend this place, if you don't need service and people to help you every day.

The place was OK. I thought for one room with 1 double and 2 single it was expensive. The room was sparsley furnished, no TV although it did have tea/coffee facilities. Never got much of a help from the owners on arrival apart from the very efficient payment process. The comment of not paying until you leave is not correct for this place. You have to pay 25% up from by credit card and the remainder when you get there in cash. In the end it's ok, very near the Vatican and within reasonable walking distance of most places. Metro was 3 mins away which was handy.

The location is excellent in a nice neighborhood--3 blocks from the Vatican and 1 block from the Metro. It had a small fridge which was nice as well. The bathroom was a small and little noisy which made us have to think twice about using late night/early morning. Overall, a great place to stay for the price!

Vielen Dank. Gerne wieder!

This was, generally, a nice room - large and comfortable. Minorissues - the bedside lamp didn't work, hot water was not always possible in the shower (seemed a function of variable pressure and bad plumbing, and it would have been nice not to have to unplug the fridge to use the kettle. The people were friendly, the price was right, and the location was convenient, though.

The accommodations were perfect for the price and location. I was traveling with a female friend and we arrived relatively on-time. I ran into a little complication with the ATMs in the airport but our driver, which was scheduled through the Vatican Suites, was more than helpful and very friendly. On arriving to VS we were greeted by a woman that spoke almost no English but tried her best to explain the map she provided and subway system. Our flat was connected with the woman that greeted us. There was a door in the hallway that connected the two flats, which apparently the maid would enter and exit from when cleaning the two flats. It wasn’t a problem until we came back one afternoon to find her sitting on our bed watching TV and on the day we were schedule to leave we went to get some coffee before the shuttle arrived and upon returning to the room she had taken all of our luggage out and put it in her flat which was strange as well. Let’s just say that wouldn’t happen in California but maybe the rules are different in Rome. The flat was walking distance to the Vatican/St. Peter’s and relatively quiet at night, but if you plan on taking a nap during the day bring some earplugs. Rome is just a loud place, sirens and horns going all day. Our flat was swept, bathroom cleaned, and bed made every day except for Sunday which is understandable. Overall the accommodations were perfect for what we needed and wanted but I could have done without the woman in our room.

We had some very nice days in Rome. The acommodation was very clean and comfortable enough for us four people. We were very satisfied with the private atmosphere. Even the small kitchen was good enough for our self catering service we all appreciated. It was a great great stay in the center of Rome just a short distance walk to the Vatican.

Vatican suites lies within walking distance from one shopping street and the Vatican. We rented a 2-3 p room with a nice and comfy four poster bed with lovely pillows. Grand lit, so prepare for a struggle if you share the bed and aren't used to sharing one big cover. The glasses and coffee cups weren't cleaned properly, but this was fixed immediately without any sour faces when we pointed it out. Misstakes are OK under such circumstances! Room, sheets and towels were clean but the towels smelled strangely from the detergent. During our week's stay the bed was made every day but the one public holiday that occurred during this time (maid was off). The linnens were changed once. The hot water preassure was quite low, so to set the shower head to "massage mode" is a hot tip if you want any hot water. Else you're in fore a brusque awaikening in the morning ;) There is some traffic outside, but not more than can be expected in such an area. Sensitive sleepers should bring ear plugs just in case. There's a great coffee place on the opposite corner in the intersection Via Silla/degli Scipioni. Not that coffee in Rome ever was bad, but this one had the best and most varied breakfast cornetti selection ever. Vatican Suites is very close to the subway and some good busses, but a good tip is to use the offered shuttle service (only cash) to and from the airport as it takes close to two hours to get there. Travelling by the Leonardo Express is everything but fast and finding one's way for the first time at Termini to the metro takes time even without backpacks, bags and suitcases. The subway and busses have no time tables available at the stops, but the longest we ever waited for either was about seven minutes, close to midnight on a Sunday. Great when sightseeing :) The driver and the older lady that let us in spoke English, the maid did not. And although she told us she understood us when speaking it, it was quite obvious that she didn't. Just

This property met my requirements, providing independence and a basic level of comfort - very good value for money. It was very close to the Vatican and to public transport (buses and metro). There are plenty of restaurants and pizzerie in the surrounding area.

Excellent location, short walk to the Vatican and other tourist attractions. This is not what I would call a Bed & Breakfast, rather a compact apartment. We enjoyed being able to prepare our own breakfast in the small kitchen. Although some of the cooking utensils were not clean and we had to wash everything before use. These were basic but comfortable accommodations for a family of four. We would return to this property.

The Vatican Suites are not your typical B&B. If you are looking to feel like you live in Rome, while in Rome, this is the perfect place. The location was awesome, great neighboorhood, with plenty of local cafes, internet pointe, local grocery, lots of shopping and 10 minute walk to the Vatican.

i did not like my stay at vatican suites at all and wouldn't recommend people to stay there. the room is overpriced and doesn't include breakfast...and you can get a three star hotel with breakfast included for a better price and quality. the area is residential so it is hard to find, and there isn't help available when you need things such as a map, or recommendations of where to eat and go out because it is not as heavily touristed as other areas. the building that the vatican suites is located in did not have electricity and the elevator didnt work when we arrived, although it was later fixed.the building is full of elder people. Upon our arrival, we waited for like an hour before we were given our keys. the people at vatican suites are not welcoming at all, and are not flexible if you need to make a change of your stay. the location of this place is far away from all of rome's main sights except the vatican which is walking distance. the room is clean although the beds aren't very comfortable. i would only recomend someone to stay here if they are looking for a very quiet and calm place that is easily accesible to the vatican. overall, i was very disapointed with my stay at the vatican suites
