b&b - interior The Bed & Breakfast A Casa di Tiziana is located in Rome's Trieste charming and elegant area, close to the important Santa Priscilla Christian catacombs and Villa Ada marvellous park, once hunting area of the Savoia royal family.

Also, the Villa Torlonia park, with the Casa delle Civette beautiful house, and the Villa Borghese park, with its magnificent art collection, are easily reachable.

The property is housed on the 5th floor of an early 20th century elegant building. The interiors have been carefully designed and decorated in a French style to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Room was pleasant, although off the beaten track. (It may be worth the extra Euros to stay closer to the city.) With busses, it was possible to get to downtown Rome within 30-40 minutes. Breakfast was great. On the downside: shower was tiny (for my 6 foot 2 inch husband this was a bit of an inconvenience). Only one (of the two) employees spoke English, which made it somewhat difficult. Room is in the front of the owners' home, but totally private. Keys were issued such that we could come and go as we pleased.

Very nice & quiet place, with "luxious" decoration and care from houskeeper - makes you feel you are in a hotel as unique (only one bedroom) and VIP customer! Very quite place, in nice area (Trieste, trully Italian and not turistic area) BUT very far from City center/metro - need to walk a lot (1km) or wait long for bus to visit center- restaurants and park close to the B&B

The Trieste area of Rome is beautiful, away from the noise of the city centre although quite near and well served by buses. The B&B clean, well decorated and with traditional furniture. Continental Breakfast taken to your bedroom door with a trolley. Lady of the house very pleasent. Only minus point the size of the double room and ensuite. We enjoyed our stay.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From the south, follow signs to the Tangenziale Est. Reach the Circonvallazione Nomentana, then turn left into via Rodolfo Lanciani, left into Piazza O. Marucchi, right into Via G. Baracco, left into Piazza D. Gnoli and right into viale XXI Aprile. Follow to via di Santa Costanza and at the roundabout turn right into via Panaro.
From the north, leave the highway at Settebagni and take via Salaria. After around 15 km, turn left into via di Villa Ada, at the roundabout take via Topino, turn right into corso Trieste, make a u-turn and reach Piazza Istria and turn right into via Panaro.

By train
From Termini railway station, take bus n. 38 or 310 and get off at Piazza Istria, or bus n. 86 or 92 and get off at via Nemorense, the first stop after Piazza Verbano.

By airplane
From Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci airport, take the Leonardo Express train to Termini railway station and follow the aforementioned indications.
From Ciampino airport, take the bus to Anagnina, then underground line A to Termini and follow the aforementioned indications.

TRANSPORT SERVICES

Guests can park their car in a nearby private garage. The cost is around €13,00-€15,00 per day.
